New Balance is one of the oldest sneaker companies around. And despite that, it’s also one of the most under-appreciated brands in sneaker culture. To change all that, New Balance is bringing back all the hits with its Spring & Summer Collection for 2010. Introducing both new models and retroing some classics, the Boston-based brand is releasing more than 120 lifestyle shoes in only a few months. The BB790 released in a classic colorway originally worn by James Worthy releases not too long, and more colors on the way. Classics have been revamped with modern materials, while others have been left the way they came. We’ve previewed a number of the included shoes, but expect detailed looks at other soon. | HUF Footwear Spring/Summer 2010 Closer Look Posted: 17 Feb 2010 12:28 PM PST  Upon showing you a preview of the HUF Footwear Fall 2010 lineup, a lot of you showed little to no interest. In an attempt to alter your opinions, we now have came across some detailed photos of this upcoming lineup. HUF is known for being involved in some very nice collaborations and their debut footwear collection seems to possesses some nice designs as well. This collection features both low-cut and high-top that contain 100% canvas bases combined with white, vulcanized rubber soles. | James Jarvis x Nike Sportswear “Team England” Pack Posted: 17 Feb 2010 11:58 AM PST  London-born illustrator James Jarvis was chosen by Nike Sportswear to help design a pack for his home country’s soccer team in honor of the upcoming World Cup. We’ve seen five other packs recently, but this is the final in the six-country series. You probably recognize the Lunar Hyper-Ventilate from our first look at the chukka shoe awhile back. Breathable white material is stretched over Torch, while red touches are added on the Swoosh, midfoot and heel. The second shoe has also been seen before, as we covered this white and red Air Footscape Freemotion awhile back. An Air Zoom Tiempo can also been seen in a white and red colorway. | Nike Zoom Kobe V USC PE Detailed Photos Posted: 17 Feb 2010 11:28 AM PST  There are limitless options when creating your own Nike Zoom Kobe V on NikeiD (see Shannon Brown’s Zoom Kobe Vs in the Dunk Contest). Some of us will have to go that route if we want to represent our school seeing that it’s nearly impossible to get our hands on college PEs. That said, these Kobe V USC PEs are probably coveted by a lot of students in southern California. We showed you these PEs a little over a week ago, but now we have detailed photos. Obviously, the USC branding is seen on the heel along with Kobe’s signature; yet, its USC color scheme and texture makeup set this Kobe V apart from the rest. The cardinal red base is highlighted by the multiple sections of gold such as the swoosh and shoealces. Its finishing touches include a white sole and iridescent faux scale overlays. | adidas Originals ZX 500 White/Grey-Green Posted: 17 Feb 2010 10:58 AM PST  Earlier today we took a look at a pair of adidas Originals ZX 700s for March. To follow these up, we have the older brother ZX 500 in a similarly clean colorway for the same month. The classic lines of this pair are fitted with heavy amount of both grey suede and white leather. The latter appears on the toe and heel, which even features perforations. Mesh is also worked in throughout the upper. Spearmint green hits appear throughout to accent the greyscale build. | Patta x Nike Air Max 1 Burgundy Posted: 17 Feb 2010 09:58 AM PST  If you’ve been following the Nice Kicks Twitter account, you know that the MAGIC tradeshow is currently going on in Las Vegas for the clothing and sneaker industry. This pair of Nike Air Max 1s, which we first saw way back in November on the feet of a member of the Patta team, has popped up again. This time, it came with a confirmation that it will release. Burgundy suede covers the mudguard and quarter panels, while a shimmer sheen-esque material fills in the remainder. The lateral Swooshes use burgundy carpet, while the medial ones use light blue. The lateral eyelets match are also blue, while yellow appears on the inner sides. A while midsole is complemented by the multicolor outsole to splash some more color onto this colorway.
