Supra Assault for Spring Posted: 25 Feb 2010 12:28 PM PST The Assault is new for 2010, and falls in line as yet another shoe to be excited about from the Supra camp. With recent releases including the TK Society in Azure Blue Crackle TUF and Burgundy leather, the California brand is on track for a big year. The simple low cut sneaker we see today is set to release in 4 colors over the course of the Spring. Black full-grain leather and white and grey canvas colorways represent the clean releases we can expect. Solid colored with varying material make-ups, all three are ideal for those who like their sneakers simple. The fourth varies from the others a bit, as the upper is made with navy blue gingham and sits on a slimmed down white vulcanized sole. Air Jordan 2010 “W3LCOME HOME” Detailed Look Posted: 25 Feb 2010 11:58 AM PST At the end of January, photos of the Air Jordan 2010 “W3LCOME HOME” surfaced on the web in which many of you really liked. Is it safe to say this colorway ultimately won you over in regards to the Air Jordan 2010. We now have additional, detailed photos of this sneaker for those who like this Air Jordan 2010. As we stated in our previous post about this shoe, the Air Jordan 2010 “W3LCOME HOME” pays tribute to Dwyane Wade’s Chicago roots. The colorway coincides nicely with the Miami Heat jerseys as well as the Chicago Bulls jerseys (hint hint). This colorway is also similar to the original Air Jordan 2010 that released a couple of weeks ago. Red leather/patent leather sections appear on the toe area and the heel panel, while the predominance of the base is done up in perforated white leather. Other features include a black inner lining, a black midsole and a red outsole. Is this the best Air Jordan 2010 colorway to date? Click here to view additional photos. Jordan Flight 9 “Olympics” Posted: 25 Feb 2010 11:28 AM PST When we got our first look at the Jordan Flight 9, the reception was far from warm. This silhouette draws cues by the numerous shoes Jordan wore in between his trips to the Olympics, and like many shoes from JB, may grow on readers in time. Black covers the entire upper, with the exception of the red liner and heel patch. To match the multicolor embroidery on the tongue, the midsole also dons the Olympics’ colors. These are done in very similar fashion to Air Jordan 6 “Olympics 2008″ that released in 2008. Does this colorway change your opinion of the shoe? Supra Cuttler Black Leather + Grey Canvas Posted: 25 Feb 2010 10:58 AM PST Supra will unleash some of its original models, such as the Skytop, Cuban and the Vaider, in new colorways and texture makeups. However, they will also unveil a couple of their newer models such as the Bandit and this Cuttler. The Supra Cuttler, a part of the sneaker brand’s non-skate lineup, will be released in a black leather makeup and a grey canvas finish. The black leather pair features complimentary attributes such as red top laceholders, black, waxed shoelaces and a white, vulcanized rubber sole. As for the grey canvas colorup, it possesses monochromatic elements including the sole, shoelaces and Supra branding on the tongue. Available soon at select retailers. VCMP x Reebok Stomper Posted: 25 Feb 2010 10:28 AM PST This retro release of the Reebok Stomper has special meaning. The Visual Countermeasures Project was involved in the design of this limited release. The VCMP is an anti-”Big Brother” agency in London that is against the expansion of citizen-monitoring actions by British authorities. This retro is available now exclusively through hanon-shop. Quantities are limited to only 54 pairs. The shoe uses Scotchlite reflective material (similar to the 3M material we see often) for the entire upper, including both of the straps that zip over the midfoot region. It may seem strange to use a shoe as a medium through which to promote such a hot-topic issue, but nonetheless, many older sneakerheads are sure to be pleased at the release of this retro shoe. Air Jordan 2010 “Silver Anniversary” Celebrated by UNC + Georgetown + Cal Posted: 25 Feb 2010 09:57 AM PST Sure, we showed highlighted two NBA Jordan Brand members in our Kicks On Court earlier today; however, the Jordan Brand colleges have and will continue to lace up some special edition kicks within the next few days. In honor of the Air Jordan franchise’s 25th year anniversary, Jordan Brand colleges including Georgetown University, California University and University of North Carolina will sport Silver Anniversary gear including the Air Jordan 2010 “Silver Anniversary”) in their upcoming games. UNC played their game in this attire last night as they loss to Florida State. Players such as Larry Drew II, Dexter Strickland and John Henson laced up the “Silver Anniversary” Air Jordan 2010s with their Silver UNC jerseys. Tonight, California will take on Arizona while wearing these jerseys, while Georgetown will go head to head with Notre Dame on Saturday in Silver Anniversary attire.
