Vans California Authentic Grey

Earlier today we checked out a Vans Era for the Spring season in an Earthy brown/cream-navy colorway. To follow that up, we’re checking out this Authentic in a futuristic grey treatment from the California line.

The canvas construction uses a greyscale print with different shades appearing throughout. Polished metal eyelets further add to the modern look. The standard white vulcanized sole is present, but the Vans tab along the forefoot that normally is white has been switched out for the upper-matching one we see here.

Nike Air Max 95 Eastbay Exclusives

Nike Air Max 95 Eastbay Exclusives

Starting just last week, it was the classic retro Nike Air Max 95 “Neon” that was hitting shelves nationwide. As accounts continue to get their shipments and put them up for sale, it seems that Eastbay has one-upped the others by locking down these 5 exclusive colorways. Not one of which, interestingly, features the patented gradient pattern along its quarter panels.

4 of 5 utilize black uppers of varying material makeups. The Club Purple pair actually has faux horse hair, while the Pine Green and Black/Metallic Silver designs alternate patent and standard leather. The Football Blue-soled colorway has perforated leather for its upper. Finally, the odd-shoe-out is the Metallic Silver/Metallic Silver/Sport Red, which features the only bright design in the group. A Sport Red midsole works to grab attention and contrast the light build. All 5 will ship from Eastbay on March 15th but can be ordered now. Thanks Tom.

Kicks On Court

Over the past couple of weeks, we have spotted some very nice Jordan Icons PEs such as DJ Augsutin’s grey/white Icons and Gerald Wallace’s blue/white Icons. In addition, we have spotted what may be the best Jordan Icons PE to date. With that said, check out today’s Kicks On Court to see these PEs.

Vans Era Brown/Cream-Navy

Vans Era Brown/Cream-Navy

The Vans Era rarely fails to please. Whether it’s coming in neon hues or subtle blacks and blues, the classic skate shoe has been around as long as it has for a reason. This next pair falls into the latter category, using natural colors for its simple canvas build.

Brown appears on the toe and heel, matching up with the stripe along the sole. The quarter panels are a light cream color, and utilize navy blue contrast stitching. That same blue is used for the liner, which helps to break the natural colorway of the outer without being too distracting. These are available now at select Vans dealers.

Patta x Nike Air Max 1 Burgundy

The 5th installment of the Patta “5 Air Max 1s for 5 years of business” series is set to release very shortly. The burgundy pair we see here set the comments board on fire when we spotted them during a Patta team interview video. With the Purple, Green, Black and Corduroy pairs all having dropped in late 2009, this last pair is sure to be a must-have for many of you. If that’s the case, it’s important to know that these will be available on March 13th at Patta and very select Nike Sportswear retailers.

Burgundy suede has been slathered all over the uppers on these Nikes. Matching carpeted Swooshes appear on the lateral sides, while light blue logos appear on the medial sides. A multicolor outsole matches up with the accents that are used throughout.
