Does ‘Rip’ All But Confirm a “Flint” Air Jordan 13 Release?

Posted: 15 Mar 2010 12:43 PM PDT

Flint Air Jordan 13 Retro

The comment section went crazy when we notified you of the “Flint” Air Jordan 13s that will supposedly release during the holiday season. However, while we await the final word on this speculated release, we spotted Detroit Pistons guard Richard Hamilton rocking the “Flint” Air Jordan 13s over the weekend.

Hamilton wore the “Flint” Air Jordan 13s against the Washington Wizards and the Atlanta Hawks over the weekend. Usually, when we spot a retro like this on a NBA player’s feet, it usually foreshadows a release. If you recall, the “Flint” Air Jordan 13s last released in 2005 for $150. Is this a must-have if it does re-release? Click here to share your thoughts on this potential re-release?

Nike KD II Texas PE

Nike KD II Texas PE

Before Kevin Durant got to the NBA, skeptics thought the scrawny Texas Ex wouldn’t be able to translate his skill to the next level. The Maryland-native has proven all doubters wrong this year, exploding to a new level of stardom. His Longhorns have done just the opposite unfortunately, but have still been blessed with this PE version of the Nike KD II.

Set to hit stores the 27th, this shoe features a predominantly white leather upper, with hits of Texas’ signature burnt orange throughout. Patent leather is used for the midfoot strap, liner, tongue and midsole. On the mesh tongue, a “TEXAS” tag can be seen in block lettering.

Air Jordan 6 Retro White/Varsity Red

Posted: 15 Mar 2010 11:13 AM PDT

Air Jordan 6 Retro

The Air Jordan 6 Retro has garnered a lot of attention as of late. In January, Jordan Brand unleashed the highly-anticipated Air Jordan 6 Retro Black/Varsity Red; however, rumors of an Air Jordan 6 Retro “Infrared” Pack literally focused everybody’s attention towards this summer. However, we have now spotted another Air Jordan 6 Retro that will release later this year.

A lot of wondered why JB would release a black/infrared Air Jordan 6 Retro after unleashing the black/red Air Jordan 6 earlier this year. Well, it seems JB will do the same thing with the primarily white pair. The minimal red hints appear on the midsole, the Jumpman logo on the tongue and the heel tab. Other features include a clear outsole, a black tongue and white shoelaces. No word on when this shoe will release; meanwhile, click here to view detailed photos.

Nike Air Max 90 White/Grey-Blue

Nike Air Max 90 White/Grey-Blue

The classic Air Max 90 has hit select retailers, including JD Sports, in this new colorway. This pair keeps things nice and simple, as it relies on neutral tones with just a splash of color for its build.

Light grey nubuck can be found on the mudguard, toe and quarter panels. White finishes out the upper on the toe box and the plastic bits throughout, while bright blue interjects on the Air bubble and liner. There isn’t too much to this pair’s design, but that often results in the best looks on Sportswear silhouettes.

Star Wars x CLOT x adidas Originals Skate High "HOTH"

Edward Chen of CLOT gave us a sneak peek of his company’s collaborative Star Wars x adidas Originals Skate High “HOTH” last week, and readers immediately took to shoe, despite the limited view we had. Now we have a complete look at the shoe, as well as two shirts releasing alongside it.

Quilted nubuck in brown and tan cover the upper, with the former appearing on the midfoot, stripes, toe and collar. Navy blue patent is worked on to the heel strip, as well as a small piece near the forefoot. Special tongue labels and orange eyelets finish off the design, while the entire shoe is fur-lined for warmth.

Video: Brandon Jennings “Protect This House. I will.”

Posted: 15 Mar 2010 08:13 AM PDT

Young Buck Brandon Jennings became the first Under Armour athlete to promote basketball when he signed his rookie deal after coming to the States last Summer. We know that his first shoe won’t become available until later this year, but nevertheless, Under Armour is getting their money’s worth, starting with the above commercial.

Jennings has had a tumultuous first year, as he broke onto the scene quickly and even went for 50 points in one game, stumbling at times since. Still, the young guard’s ability is highly regarded league-wide and his first UA shoe next year has more than its fair share of attention around it already, despite the fact that we haven’t even seen a release version yet.
