| Nike Air Pegasus ‘89 Black/Light Blue Posted: 26 Mar 2010 12:28 PM PDT  Although it seemed 2009 was the year of the Air Pegasus (last year marked its 20th year anniversary), Nike shows no signs of stopping the Air Pegasus '89 releases this year. So far, we have seen a couple of nice Pegasus ‘89 colorways such as the BK Black/Metallic Silver-Electric Green and the Grey/Black-Blue; however, take a look at another new colorway that is sure to turn some heads. Much like the aforementioned BK Black/Metallic Silver-Electric Green Pegasus ‘89, this particular pair owns a mostly black-colored upper comprised of suede and nylon; it also possesses a hint of patent leather on the swoosh. Light blue accents, seen on the collar area, the toe cap, top laceholders and sole, give this shoe a nice, contrasting color scheme to say the least. | Nike Zoom Kobe V Blue/Black-White Posted: 26 Mar 2010 11:43 AM PDT  The Nike Zoom Kobe V seems to be the sneaker choice for a lot of basketball players around the world. Multiple NikeiD versions are seen night after night in the NBA, while the college ballers have been spotted in general release Kobe Vs in the tournament. We have now spotted a new Kobe V colorway that may arguably be the best yet. At a fist glance, this new Nike Zoom Kobe V may remind you of the Nike Air Max LeBron VII “All-Star”; however, the shades of blue are slightly different. The light blue base is backed by a black midsole and a white outsole; something we haven’t seen on the Kobe V before. Another interesting element on this particular Kobe V is the lack of a complex, multi-textured upper notably seen on previous Kobe Vs. Although we will probably never see Kobe wearing this colorway due to the purple/gold Lakers jerseys, it would be a nice to see the Lakers slip into those Minneapolis jerseys and try to make this work. | Kehinde Wiley x Puma 917 Mid Mame Posted: 26 Mar 2010 10:58 AM PDT  The late Alexander McQueen constructed some very nice collaborative efforts with Puma to say the least. However, Puma is set to reveal some other designs that designed with the help of other designers. With that said, take a look at the Kehinde Wiley x Puma 917 Mid Mame. World-famous designer Kehinde Wiley designed this peculiar sneaker in honor of the upcoming 2010 World Cup. Supposedly, it draws most of inspiration from Africa’s icons, colors and most of all, it is an extension of Africa’s spirit. The off-white base overlayed by blue bird-like figurines, while a faded, rainbow-like coloration appears on the ankle strap and toe cap. What are your thoughts on this one-of-a-kind design? | Nike Shoe Porn Tee Posted: 26 Mar 2010 10:13 AM PDT  While we have heard some readers refer to our site as “Shoe Porn”, Nike illustrates it full frontal on a new T-shirt. Properly titled “Shoe Porn”, the T-shirt graphic depicts an Air Max 90 doing doggie to an Air Max 2009. With pixelated blur over the bumped uglies, the shirt passes for PG-13, but to refute even the most innocent, below the graphic the XXX rating is spelled out in a creative way of MAXXX Air. Sneaker culture’s love for shoes is beyond what many can comprehend, but this shirt takes the phrase “That Ain’t Right” to a new level. | Nike Air Griffey Max GD II Cool Grey/Black Posted: 26 Mar 2010 08:43 AM PDT  Within the past couple of weeks, we have learned that the Nike Air Griffey Max GD II will return later this year. In addition, Nike plans on re-releasing this sneaker in some very nice colorways such as black/royal blue and black/varsity red. Yet, is this cool grey/black Nike Air Griffey Max GD II one of, if not the best colorway seen on this sneaker? This Air Griffey Max GD II sets itself apart from the rest color-wise and texture-wise. While the previously-mentioned colorways feature a predominately tumbled leather makeup, this particular pair possesses a 100% cool grey suede upper. To coincide with this element, Nike decided to add a grey full-length Air sole unit. Other features include a black midsole, a black inner lining and a script on the back of the tongue which reads, "Engineered to the exact specifications og Ken Griffey Jr." (If you recall, the regular Nike training slogan ends with ‘our athletes’). We now have exclusive photos and information on the other ‘Sox’ inspired Vans sneaker in this collection. Take a look at the Vans Vault Chukka LX “Chicago White Sox”. This particular Vans Vault Chukka LX contains a 100% grey colored base with the timeless, black ‘Sox’ on the heel. Additional black accents appear in the form of the lining, shoelaces and the line design that surrounds the entire base. To compliment this Chukka LX, Vans Vault chose to finish it with a white, vulcanized rubber sole.
