Ronnie Fieg x Asics Gel Lyte III “Salmon Toe”

Posted: 29 Mar 2010 12:43 PM PDT

Ronnie Fieg x Asics Gel Lyte III "Salmon Toe"

Ronnie Fieg is back at with another pair of Asics Gel Lyte IIIs. The last shoe we saw from the designer was a Gel Lyte Speed in Aqua nubuck, and one lucky reader even won the 1 of 1 pair. These will also go to a Fieg fan.

This time around, Ronnie went with navy blue as the base color for the nubuck build. In the mid-panel, white Asics arches lay over salmon nubuck. As the name would suggest, salmon also covers the entire forefoot and toe area, including the perforated toe box. A white midsole sits on a navy outsole with matching Asics branding. If you’re after these 1 of 1 size 9 samples, follow Ronnie on Twitter and tweet, “"Follow @RonnieFieg to win the RF x Salmon Toe Asics sample, brought to you by RonnieFieg.com."

Nike Dunk High Premium Black/Midnight Fog-Aster Pink

Nike Dunk High Premium Black/Midnight Fog-Aster Pink

It looks like gingham is officially back for the Nike Dunk. We’ve seen numerous shoes use the picnic pattern before, though mostly on the outer, including a pair of Highs with black denim that surfaced recently. Last week, a canvas Low that used the print on its liner hit stores. The pair of Highs we see here also makes use of the print, and should be available shortly directly from Nike Store.

Black and Midnight Fog make up the gingham that covers the quarter panel, toe box and collar, while premium tumbled leather can be found on the toe, midfoot and foxing. The two colors come together for the mid- and outsole. Like the aforementioned Low, Aster Pink can be found on the tongue labeling.

adidas Forum Mid Comfort Purple/White

adidas Forum Mid Comfort Purple/White

While many of us will go to extreme lengths to wear our favorite shoes, including double-socking to size up, or squeezing into a size below, there come times when all sneakerheads could go for some additional comfort. These adidas Forum Mid Comforts aim to please your feet, as they’ve replaced many of the standard Forum’s clunky bits with toe-hugging elements.

Purple canvas promises to flex with your foot more than a leather shoe would. Details include an embroidered triple stripe design, while patent can be found on the strap and tongue label. Metal eyelets also work to add durability to the cloth midfoot. The sole has also been swapped for this slimmer one, which looks to provide more give with each step. Is this rendition of the Forum more to your liking?

Kicks On Court: Rare Jordan Jumpman Pro PE Sighting in Orlando

Posted: 29 Mar 2010 08:58 AM PDT

Kicks On Court

Last season, the Jordan Jumpman Team Pro was a staple in Kicks On Court. We spotted every Jordan Brand member, including Chris Paul, Ray Allen and Joe Johnson, sporting this sneaker consistently. While we have rarely seen this comfortable team sneaker this season, we spotted a Jordan Jumpman Team Pro PE that will undoubtedly catch your eye.

In a losing effort against the Orlando Magic, Denver Nuggets power forward/center Johan Petro laced up a head-turning colorway of the Jordan Jumpman Team Pro. The base features a color combination comprised of white, university blue and yellow. While this particular Jumpman Pro may not be the best you have seen, it is surely one of the more loud, vibrant colorways you have seen on this shoe yet. Click here to view these kicks plus more worn by Carmelo Anthony, LeBron James, Kevin Durant and others.

Converse Chuck Taylor Moccasin

Posted: 29 Mar 2010 08:13 AM PDT

Converse Chuck Taylor All-Star Moccasin

The shoe we see here is proof that the Converse Chuck Taylor is the ultimate wearable canvas, even when not made of canvas. The (Product) RED “Thriller” shoe is another great example of this. This Moccasin version should release sometime in the immediate future at select Converse retailers, and provide you the perfect opportunity to get away from the classic Chuck.

Black leather is the material of choice for the uppers, while the classic striped and vulcanized sole provides support under the base. Beyond that though, the real design element that sets this apart from the rest is the moccasin strands that hang from the collar.
