Nike Air Hoop Structure Low

Posted: 24 Apr 2010 11:28 AM PDT

Nike Air Hoop Structure Low

The low-cut hoops shoe phenomenon may have started two seasons ago, but it’s still going strong. Aside from the Kobe signatures that are responsible for the movement, the Hyperdunk and LeBron VII have both been cut down in height, as well as the creation of the Cradle Rock Low, and this trend looks to have the legs to go the distance. The Air Hoop Structure is the latest shoe to be cut down, as seen is this new Low version.

Nike went for broke with this colorway, as it combines a number of very bright colors, as well as a special carbon fiber-esque print on the toe area and quarter panel. Electric blue suede on the toe is matched on the heel and tongue, while neon yellow laces match the forefoot area of the outsole. Purple accents can also be found at various places. These have landed at select retailers, but stateside and overseas, so be on the lookout if you’re looking to lace up the latest low top offering from the Beaverton team.

Jordan Flight 9 Black “Olympics”

Posted: 23 Apr 2010 05:58 PM PDT

A couple of days ago, we notified you of the primarily white-colored Jordan Flight 9 “Olympics” being available in an auction on eBay. In addition, we have also spotted the predominately black-colored Jordan Flight 9 “Olympics” on eBay as well.

This Jordan Flight 9’s black base is constructed of mostly leather and contains black suede on the toe box. However, its multi-colored attributes, inspired by the Air Jordan VI “Olympics”, give this shoe a distinctive look. Blue, red, green and yellow appear on the sole in a speckled pattern, while the same color scheme is also present throughout the inner lining, tongue and heel. Is this “Olympic” Jordan Flight 9 better than the aforementioned white pair?

Nike Cradle Rock Low & Zoom Kobe V “Kinbé Pa Lagé”

Posted: 23 Apr 2010 05:28 PM PDT

Nike Cradle Rock Low & Zoom Kobe V "Kinbe Pa Lage"

The travesty in Haiti has since faded from the headlines, but the problems experienced are far from resolved. Following the earthquake, Nike had elementary school students in South Florida design a t-shirt that proudly read “Kinbé Pa Lagé,” which loosely translates from Creole to “Hold on tight, don’t let go.” Because of the turn-around time required to produce a shoe, the charity-benefiting sneakers designed under the same circumstances are now being spotted.

The Nike Cradle Rock Low and Zoom Kobe V were chosen to receive the treatment, which features child-like drawings done in crayon. The Cradle Rock Low relies on a white leather upper with a blue midsole and stitching. The Kobe signature uses a black and red upper, with the special designs appearing on the toe and midfoot. No information has been revealed just yet as to each shoe’s release, but hopefully these will see production and serve to benefit charity.

Jordan L’Style Advanced Grey/White Sample

Posted: 23 Apr 2010 04:58 PM PDT

There was both positive and negative remarks regarding the newly-designed Jordan L’Style Advanced we showed you a couple of days ago. The red suede Jordan L’Style Advanced is definitely a head-turner to say the least. We have now spotted a more subtle Jordan L’Style Advanced that was recently available in an auction on eBay (size 9).

Instead of the two-textured, red L’Style Advanced, this particular sneaker features a 100% suede finish. Specifically, grey suede appears on the toe box, midfoot straps, while grey perforated suede is seen throughout the rest of the base. This shoe is also complimented with a white inner lining and a sole of the same color. Click here to view detailed photos.

Nike Toki Challenge Red/Cool Grey-White

Posted: 23 Apr 2010 04:43 PM PDT

Nike Toki Challenge Red/Cool Grey-White

The Toki was immediately accepted by readers for its casual design and chukka-inspired silhouette. Wearable with jeans or shorts, this Nike has been seen in color ranging from neon-accented to more neutral. This next pair just became available at Finish Line and promises to catch a good amount of attention thanks to its Challenge Red build.

As noted above, this very bright hue is used for the canvas upper, as well as the leather Swoosh. Cool Grey accents appear throughout, including the metal eyelets at the midfoot and the stripe that wraps around the vulcanized sole.
