Nike Air Max 90 White/Grey-Team Orange Posted: 30 Apr 2010 12:58 PM PDT It’s safe to say that simple color blocking on Nike Sportswear models will forever result in a clean sneaker. This Air Max 90 is no exception. These recently dropped at European accounts, but with any luck could be at U.S. shops soon. White leather and mesh work as the base and are matched with the midsole. The mudguard and plastic eyelet surrounds are both light grey, further helping the Team Orange Swoosh, outsole heel and liner jump off the clean base. If you haven’t grabbed a pair of 90s yet this year, can this pair convince you to finally do so? Bespoke Nike Air Force 1 by Dijon McLeish Posted: 30 Apr 2010 12:28 PM PDT
It is safe to say more and more people would give up anything to create a Bespoke Nike Air Force 1 with every passing photo of these 1 of 1s. We have came across some photos of a very interesting Bespoke Nike Air Force 1 that was recently created by Dijon McLeish. McLeish’s decided to go with a primarily denim-textured design on his Bespoke Nike Air Force 1s. Black denim appears on the toe area and throughout the midfoot, while a dark grey denim is visible on the toe box, side panels, tongue and swoosh. In addition to denim, Dijon applied yellow and purple suede to the heel area. Its complimentary attributes include a single-stitched yellow midsole, a black outsole and black waxed laces. Onitsuka Tiger Mexico 66 “Mesh” Pack Posted: 30 Apr 2010 11:58 AM PDT The classic Onitsuka Tiger Mexico 66 has been revamped in a material make-up for this Summer, and has been released in three new colorways. The “Mesh” Pack is bringing three options with it, with one working as the yin to the other’s yang. The first pair relies on yellow mesh for its upper, while blue suede arches, laces and label work as accents. The other pair uses the same color combination in opposite points on the shoe. Finally, a white mesh shoe is accented with green throughout. All three are available now at Size?. Jordan Flight SC-1 White/Varsity Red-Black Posted: 30 Apr 2010 11:28 AM PDT
At the top of the week, we previewed a new Jordan silhouetted dubbed the Rare Air which received both positive and negative remarks. We have now spotted yet another new Jordan model that is set to debut this summer called the Jordan Flight SC-1. Much like the aforementioned Rare Air, this newly-designed Jordan Flight SC-1 borrows elements from classic sneaker within the Air Jordan signature line. For example, the Flight SC-1 uses the Air Jordan III sole, and the laceholders are very reminiscent of the Air Jordan IV. Lastly, the silhouette as a whole reminds of the recently-released Jordan Flight 45; yet, this Flight SC-1 does not own an ankle strap design. As for the colorway/texture makeup, this shoe possesses a mainly white leather base combined with a varsity red midsole and minimal black hints. To coincide with the latter area, this shoe’s laceholders are also varsity red. What are your thoughts on the newly-designed Jordan Flight SC-1? Video: Sneakers For Any Occasion Posted: 30 Apr 2010 11:13 AM PDT It’s not as if sneakerheads needed to be told it’s okay to wear sneakers on almost any occasion, but CBS recently invited Complex magazine’s Bradley Carbone to walk the un-addicted morning audience through a selection of recently-released kicks in a variety of styles. Bradley talks about the rise of the training sneaker, and also shows how to wear them, whether you want to spend nearly $200, or just over $40. Check out the video–you might catch a sneaker you overlooked. © Alex Kroviak for NiceKicks.com, 2010. | Permalink | No comment | Add to del.icio.us |

XLarge x X-Girl x Converse Jack Purcell Posted: 30 Apr 2010 09:58 AM PDT Japan’s X-Girl and XLarge brands have extensive history collaborating with sneaker companies on interesting projects. Most recently, X-Girl designed two Nike Blazers that look perfectly suited for a disco-era nightclub. The Converse Jack Purcell is their next shoe to work on, with an expected release in July. From what we can see in this limited preview, a white canvas upper is utilized to keep the upper nice and clean. Pink laces appear to be used, and a blue sole label also works for contrast. On the heel of the upper “X-” appears, an obvious ode to both collaborators. More information and a complete look will surface shortly, so stay ready for this Japanese sneaker later this Summer.
