Nike Air Max 24-7 “Neon”

Posted: 26 May 2010 12:58 PM PDT

Nike Air Max 24-7 "Neon"

The Nike Air Max 24-7 has now been seen in two classic Air Max 95 colors, which is not a bad way to get the ball rolling for a newer silhouette. The “Neon” look may be one of the more talked-about shoes of the past month, sending many heads into a scramble to lock down a pair. If you didn’t land a pair, Nike Store just added a full size run to their inventory.

The gradient effect we’ve come to know and love on the Air Max 95 is seen on this hybrid silhouette, fading from black to white, from bottom to top. Neutral, Medium and Cool Grey all help out on the upper. Of course, neon hits are seen throughout. Grab a pair now, because this could prove to be the runner of the Summer.

Nike Air Foamposite Pro “Pearl”

Posted: 26 May 2010 12:28 PM PDT

The comment section went crazy when we notified you of the Nike Air Foamposite Pro “Pearl” re-releasing later this year. This undoubtedly gives you a second chance to snag these as they were exclusively available at House of Hoops in 2009. However, you may not have to wait till later this year; we now spotted them available early in multiple sizes on eBay.

The news of the Nike Air Foamposite Pro “Pearl” further clarifies that 2010 is a year for the Foams. So far, we have witnessed the release of the “Copper” Foamposites, the re-release of the “Eggplant” Foamposites and are currently awaiting the “Cough Drop” Foamposites. Yet, does the “Pearl” Nike Air Foamposite Pro stand alone as a must-have later this year? As stated earlier, you can attempt to snag yours early on eBay.

Jordan Jeter Throwback Light Graphite

The Jordan Jeter Throwback has been seen a number of times here on Nice Kicks. Whether in cleated or sneaker form, this shoe’s been established as a solid baseball oriented trainer. This colorway has been spotted for the Fall, when the MLB season really heats up.

Light grey nubuck appears as the majority, while patent leather wraps around the base of the upper in a darker shade. A black midsole has also been employed. Matching the white Jumpman logo on the heel are the outsole and laces.

Nike Challenger Dark Obsidian

Posted: 26 May 2010 11:28 AM PDT

Following the Nike Challenger Green/Ink we showed you at the top of the week, we now have spotted the fifth Nike Challenger of the year. Who else applauds Nike for releasing this sneaker in multitudes considering its the 30th-year-anniversary for this classic?

The latest Nike Challenger features more of a subtle color scheme than the previous pairs we have seen this year. Its base is colored in dark obsidian and comprised of open mesh (toe box), nylon (side panels) and faux suede (predominance of the base). Minimal white hints, such as the swoosh, shoelaces and inner lining give this shoe nice color blocking, while a black waffle sole completes this Nike runner. Available now at Crooked Tongues.

Footwear Faceoff: Steve Nash vs Lamar Odom

Posted: 26 May 2010 10:28 AM PDT

In last night’s game 4, Steve Nash and Lamar Odom rocked the some of the simpler sneakers on the court to say the least. In detail, the Phoenix Suns point guard laced up a simple, all-white Nike Cradle Rock, while Lamar Odom opted for a black/white colorway of the Nike Air Max Hyperfly.

Both sneakers nearly impossible to obtain within the sneaker market as of now. The Nike Cradle Rock is an exclusive overseas release, while the Nike Air Max Hyperfly is still a month or two away from being released worldwide. Yet, if you had to choose one of these subtle, Nike Basketball sneakers, which one would it be? Would you prefer the low-cut Nike Cradle Rock or the flywire-laced Nike Air Max Hyperfly?

**Note**: Participate in our newly-designed Footwear Faceoff voting poll below and choose whose basketball sneakers you liked more.
