XLarge x X-Girl x Converse Jack Purcell

XLarge x X-Girl x Converse Jack Purcell

By now, we have a good idea what the XLarge x X-Girl x Converse Jack Purcell will look like. Given our first and second looks previously, this third (and expected final) sneak peek reveals more than the past two and really gives us a solid look at this shoe.

White canvas covers the entire upper, while a white sole sits underneath. While that in itself would be pretty boring, blue and pink accents throughout help brighten things up. The left shoe uses pink laces to match its toe stripe, while the other muses blue in the same place. The insoles make use of the other shoe’s respective accent color.

Nike Air Max 90 Obsidian

Posted: 28 May 2010 12:43 PM PDT

At the beginning of this week, we notified you of a Nike Air Max 90 White/Obsidian-Red releasing at Nike’s online store. It seems as id Nike fell in love with this color combination as they will feature it in sort of a reverse scheme on another Nike Air Max 90 this fall/winter season.

This particular Nike Air Max 90 possesses an leather/nubuck construction as opposed to the leather/mesh finishing on the recently-released Nike Air Max 90. In detail, the predominance of the upper is done up in obsidian leather, while the mudguard features obsidian nubuck. Minimal red hints appear in the form of the inner lining, minimal Nike branding and outsole, while a white swoosh, a white heel tab and white laceholders complete this 90s color scheme. Lastly, a white midsole and a visible Air sole unit of the same color compliments this shoe nicely. Look for this sneaker to surface during the fall/winter season.

Much like all of the preceding Nike SB Zoom P-Rod sneakers, this shoe owns a nice mixture of materials and possesses a very nice, subtle colorway. However, we have now learned that Jordan Brand will unleash a quickstrike in the form of this Air Jordan Fusion 8 “Firepit” on June 10th, 2010.

Monochromatic elements come in the form of the swoosh, the ‘23′ logo located in between the side panels and the toe area, while existing complimentary attributes include a black outsole and additional firepit colored hints on the inner lining.

Vans California Old Skool Re-Issue

Between the OTW Collection and the recent string of super clean released from the California line, Vans is doing great things. Then again, their storied history proves they’ve been doing something right for decades. Three more Old Skool Re-Issues are expected for later this year.

All three rely on nubuck uppers of a single color, available in either black, brown or navy blue. The stripe along the sides is made of leather, and the cloth liner of the black and navy pairs use a lighter hue. White vulcanized soles sit underneath each.
