Posted: 01 Jun 2010 12:58 PM PDT The Nike Air Presto is one of the most popular running shoes ever created by Nike. The lightweight yet sturdy materials used throughout the upper and sole make the Presto an ideal performance shoe. Recently, we have shown you several different colorways of the Nike Air Presto that feature several, interesting patterns. This assortment of colors and patterns prove that performance doesn’t always cancel style. This summer, Nike will release two additional pairs of the Nike Air Presto, featured in a blue/white and red/white. Both contain the intuitively, engineered heel cup and elastic upper that are not only easy to customize, but also provide comfort. White is used to finish off the dual tone Prestos on the lace eyelets, heelcup, laces, and midsoles. With so many Prestos releasing this year, will these colorways be eye-catching enough for you to buy? Footwear Faceoff: Chris Brown vs. T.I. Posted: 01 Jun 2010 12:28 PM PDT Chris Brown had more fun this weekend than any of us did if the picture after the jump is any indication of his Memorial Day happenings. Additionally, he had something special on his feet that gave him another reason to smile. As of late, we’ve seen Chris Brown in a variety of classic Vans but for the holiday weekend, he brought out something a little more ‘powerful’. Never one to be outdone, ATL rapper T.I. had a chance to break out some heat this weekend in the form of a classic Air Max. Who rocked these surprise sneakers better? Let us know by voting in the Footwear Faceoff poll.

Posted: 01 Jun 2010 11:58 AM PDT One of the upcoming Jordan team shoes is the Air’s, which we’ve previewed a handful of times here on Nice Kicks. Thanks to a release update from Jordan Brand today, we’re getting a look at three colorways more for the Fall. The first two are very similar in that they each rely on a nearly completely black upper, with hits of suede all over. The first shows touches of red and gets a clear outsole, while the second uses a healthy amount of patent leather and a white speckled midsole. The third relies on a white and grey upper with hints of black on the midsole and sock liner. Air Jordan 2010 White/Navy Ray Allen PE Posted: 01 Jun 2010 11:28 AM PDT
Some of you may be wondering why this Air Jordan 2010 does not possess a white/green color scheme like most of the Air Jordan Ray Allen PEs we have seen for the past three years. Well, that is because this Air Jordan 2010 was constructed for the 2010 NBA All-Star Game that Ray did not get selected to this year. Jordan Brand designed this sneaker with the intention of Ray Allen being chosen as one of the reserves on the All-Star East team (we don’t blame JB for this one; Ray has made the All-Star team nine years in his 14-year career). However, Dwyane Wade and Gerald Wallace ultimately were the lone Jordan Brand representatives to wear the Air Jordan 2010 in this year’s All-Star game. As for Ray’s PEs, they coincide perfectly with the East All-Star jerseys as they own a white /navy blue color scheme comprised of suede (midfoot, window border, tongue), leather (toe, heel) and perforated leather (side panels). Its finishing touches include a navy blue midsole, a white outsole and the words, Sugar Ray along the midfoot. Now available in an auction on eBay (size 14). Nike Air Max 90 Current Moire Red/White Posted: 01 Jun 2010 10:58 AM PDT The Nike Air Max 90 Current Moire pops back up every now and then, and will make another appearance later this year in the colorway we see here. The single piece upper is bright red, and sports silver detailing throughout. Meanwhile, the white Free forefoot is matched by the Swoosh, liner and laces, among other details. From the look of the tongue tag, there’s a good chance this shoe is a part of the “Omega” Pack, though that can’t be confirmed at this time. Is this simple colorway a good look for the Moire? Nike Air Max A Lot Danny Granger PE Posted: 01 Jun 2010 10:28 AM PDT
Throughout our Kicks On Court, we have spotted Indiana Pacers up-and-coming forward Danny Granger rocking some nice Nike sneakers in a head-turning yellow and blue color scheme. For example, he has worn a blue/yellow Hyperdunk and a Nike Hyperize of the same color among other sneakers. We have now spotted another one of his PEs that we didn’t see him rock during the 2009-2010 NBA season in the form of the Nike Air Max A Lot. Much like the Nike Air Max A Lot Jermaine O’Neal PEs we showed you earlier today, this sneaker features a primarily black textured base comprised of leather, pebbled leather and another textured leather seen on the AIR logo (side panels). A gradient-like design, using blue and yellow, appears on the midsole, while attributes such as a yellow visible Air sole unit, yellow laces, a navy blue tongue and a yellow inner lining, complete this Pacers-inspired sneaker. Posted: 01 Jun 2010 09:58 AM PDT Before the rest of the world was able to give the US Basketball program any semblance of a challenge, a number of Dream Team members were sporting now-classic Nike silhouettes. Paying tribute to the 1992 Summer Olympics in Spain, Nike has combined Charles Barkley’s Air Force 180 and David Robinson’s Air Ballistic High to create the Air Zoom Barcelona. Because this is a Dream Team era tribute, it of course carries a red, white, blue and gold colorway. White leather and navy blue suede combine on the upper, while red works on the midsole and liner. The Midas touch was given to the heel, midfoot strap and Swoosh outline. These are set for a mid-Summer release.
