Air Jordan 2010 Team Black/Metallic Gold Posted: 03 Jun 2010 12:28 PM PDT
In mid-May, we showed you a rare Air Jordan 2010 ‘No Window’ sample that surfaced on eBay in a size 9. When we showed you the Air Jordan 2010 for the first time this year, many of you stated that the Air Jordan 2010 would be a very nice sneaker without the highly-criticized window. Well, we have great news regarding the Air Jordan 2010. Jordan Brand will unleash the Air Jordan 2010 Team, which features a ‘No Window’ design, later this year. We have spotted a rare, size 9 Air Jordan 2010 Team sample that recently appeared on eBay. This Air Jordan 2010 Team’s construction features perforated-textured panels in place of the window. It also contains patent leather lining around the toe area, heel panel and lace panel. Minimal gold accents, such as the word, JORDAN (midfoot), tongue branding, midsole and inner lining give this shoe some rather interesting color blocking. What are your thoughts on this Air Jordan 2010 Team? View detailed photos below. New Balance 574 “Sonic Weld Brights” Orange Posted: 03 Jun 2010 11:58 AM PDT The New Balance 574 “Sonic Weld” Pack introduced to a new way to hold together sneakers. For the Summer season, they’re introducing the Brights version in this neon orange colorway. The sonic welds on this shoe work to piece together the mesh and suede panels. Previously, we’ve seen only neutral colorways, while these are anything but. Is this look too bright, or just right? Check your local New Balance account in the coming weeks. Nike Air Max 90 Current Dark Army Sample Posted: 03 Jun 2010 11:28 AM PDT
Yesterday, we gave you a look at an upcoming Nike Air Max 90 Current that is set to appear during the fall season of 2010. However, we have now spotted a sample of this Nike Air Max 90 Current ‘Dark Army’ available on eBay. This Nike Air Max 90 Current, which uses a Free sole, features a two-color scheme and a two-textured construction. Dark Army leather on the toe area and throughout the side panels, while dark army suede is noticeable on the mudguard, toe box and collar area. To accompany the aforementioned sole, this sneaker adds white hints in the form of the inner lining, laces and swoosh. As stated earlier, you can obtain this sneaker in an auction on eBay now (size 9). © George Kiel III for NiceKicks.com, 2010. | Permalink | One comment | Add to del.icio.us |
Video: Kobe Bryant “All Together Now” Posted: 03 Jun 2010 10:58 AM PDT Game 1 is only hours away. Will Kobe be capturing his fifth, or will the Celtics begin their climb to their 10th Finals win over their rivals from the West? Nike put together this video that highlights some of the Black Mamba’s career highlights. Also featured are a number of Nike-endorsed greats, though it is a little strange that three Hall of Famers shown are without rings. Then again, it makes sense that Charles Barkley makes a big zero with his hands moments after Kobe counts to four with his. We know that all of the players will bring proper kicks out for the Finals, but which team do you think will go home with the trophy when all is said and done? © Alex Kroviak for NiceKicks.com, 2010. | Permalink | 12 comments | Add to del.icio.us |
Nike Zoom Kobe V “2010 Finals Edition” Preview Posted: 03 Jun 2010 10:28 AM PDT
Throughout their 2010 NBA Playoff run, Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers have worn multiple colorways of the Kobe V including the “Home”, the “Del Sol” and the “Kid Hollywood”. However, Kobe Bryant himself will shelved those aforementioned colorways for this Nike Zoom Kobe V “2010 Finals Edition”. As of right now, we only have preview photos of this Nike Zoom Kobe V; however, we are still able to notice a few distinctive elements on this sneaker. The predominately white-colored base is offset by multiple gold hints including the swoosh, the heel panel and the Kobe branding on the tongue. However, its most intriguing aspect is the embossed, monochromatic statistics that appear throughout the upper. If you look closely at the photo above, you can see various stats that include 2835 (total minutes played), 25,970 (total points scored by the end of the season), 365 (season assist) 391 (rebounds), 27pt (ppg game average) 2010 (All Star) 73 (Games played) and 02.01.10 (the day he became the All Time Leading Scorer for the Lakers with 25,207 points scored). Look for Kobe Bryant to debut this sneaker on the court today for game 1. What are your preliminary thoughts on this sneaker? Jordan Carmichael Black/Varsity Maize-White Posted: 03 Jun 2010 09:28 AM PDT
The newly-developed Jordan Carmichael surprisingly received a lot of positive feedback when we debuted it on the site yesterday. We say ’surprisingly’ because the majority of you tend to hate on any new sneaker Jordan Brand releases; however, this particular silhouette nonetheless caught your attention. We now have came across a second Jordan Carmichael colorway that may be better than the first one depending on your preference. The primarily black colored base is constructed of leather and pebbled leather with the latter material appearing on the side panels. The lace panel and mesh-like midfoot area are also colored in black, while plastic overlay and white midsole are done up in white once again. Obviously, the most intriguing aspects of this shoe are the varsity maize elements which come in the form of the visible Air heel unit and the minimal Jordan branding throughout the upper.
