Posted: 18 Jun 2010 01:28 PM PDT Although the 2009-2010 NBA season came to an end last, basketball is far from over. It is time to hit the outdoor courts for most of you basketball junkies. With that said, Jordan Brand has constructed a newly-designed sneaker for the upcoming Quai 54 basketball tournament. Quai 45, the largest International Streetball Tournament, is held in France and sponsored by Jordan Brand. While last year’s Quai 54 brought about the “Ruff & Tuff” Pack, this year’s sneakers and colors are very different as seen above. This year’s Quai 54 will see the unveiling of the Jordan Team Iso in a LIEVSTRONG-esque color scheme. The shoe itself incorporates Zoom Air and features a multi-textured upper. In detail, patent leather, suede and a monochromatic, cement print-like design, make up the majority of this Team Iso. Stay tuned as we’re sure to see additional news regarding this sneaker. Luke Meier for Vans Syndicate Zero Lo Posted: 18 Jun 2010 12:58 PM PDT Vans Syndicate gave Supreme’s Luke Meier the reigns to its latest project, the Zero Lo. The result was this refined sneaker that channels both luxury elements and the classic Vans skate heritage. We first saw a tan version just before the end of 2009, and now we’re checking out this black colorway. Black suede is used for the entirety of the upper, with the exception of a small patch on the forefoot that makes use of full grain leather. A white sole sits underneath and the laces and eyelets are also white.

Posted: 18 Jun 2010 12:28 PM PDT Over the past couple of seasons, Nike has applied its vintage attributes to a number of its silhouettes including the All Court, the Blazer and the Challenger. Next up, Nike gives the rarely-seen Match Classic vintage, old-fashioned aspects for the fall of 2010. The vintage qualities have been a big subject in the sneaker community as some of you welcome the different look while others despise it. As for these Match Classics, they feature more of a spotty, stained sole attribute as opposed to a yellowed look. The uppers, coming in black and sail, are done up in suede and feature the vintage Nike logo on the tongue. Look for both pairs to be available stateside in the fall. View additional photos below.

Nike Air Max 1 Solar Red/White Posted: 18 Jun 2010 11:58 AM PDT It seems like when the Summer months come around, so do the ultra-bright sneakers. This pair of Nike Air Max 1s is primed for release soon, though you’ll have to size up to your WMNS equivalent. Solar Red suede covers the majority of the upper, with white mesh filling out the remainder. Dark Grey accents can also be seen on the heel, liner and forefoot strip. A gum outsole adds a nice touch to the bottom of these. Posted: 18 Jun 2010 11:28 AM PDT Surprisingly, many of you were impressed with the upcoming Nike Air Max Wavy colorways that are set to appear in July. We have now spotted yet another Nike Air Max Wavy colorway that can serve as consolation prize if you didn’t get the chance to snag a specific major release in February. The Nike Air Max Wavy “Copper” is now available at select retailers nationwide for $80. The copper foamposite material appears throughout the lower half of the upper and on the side panels, while black suede is seen on the toe area, throughout the midfoot and on the heel. It also feartures a copper-outlined, black swoosh on the heel and a copper visible Air sole unit. Even if you own the Nike Air Foamposite “Copper”, this shoe can be your actual ‘playing ‘ shoe while the Foams sit on ice. Posted: 18 Jun 2010 10:58 AM PDT It’s hard to believe that any shade of purple could ever catch on the way “Eggplant” has. From the Foamposite One to the Air Penny III, this hue has adorned a number of classic Nike Basketball silhouettes. Now the Air Pippen II, which we haven’t seen in a number of years, is set to release in an “Eggplant” look. The namesake hue is used for the entirety of the leather upper and the finish gives a color-shifting effect. The Swoosh and midsole accent are both glossy black. Is “Eggplant” a good look on this shoe, or is Nike applying it to too many models? Head to the comments section and weigh in. Nike Air Force 1 Black/Light Bone Posted: 18 Jun 2010 10:28 AM PDT After showing you preliminary photos of the Nike Air Force 1 Black/Light Bone a few weeks ago, we have now learned that it is available at select retailers worldwide. This particular Nike Air Force 1 will be well-received because of its multi-textured, multi-patterned design cues. A black matte finish leather is applied to the toe area, the swoosh and along the midfoot. As for the side and heel panels, Nike added an interesting light bone line design that overlays black leather. The lines are actually positioned in different directions giving this Air Force 1 a rather distinctive look. Other features include a light bone midsole, a black outsole and minimal red branding on the tongue and heel. View detailed photos below.
