Video: An In-Depth Look at the Jordan CP3 “Tribute” Posted: 23 Jun 2010 12:28 PM PDT We didn’t get to see much of the Jordan CP3.III on the NBA courts due to Paul’s knee injury; however, that will not stop the onslaught of Paul’s third signature sneaker from releasing in multiple colorways. The customized Jordan CP3 “Tribute” is one to look out for in the coming months. The CP3.III keeps it same structure, and incorporates multiple elements from the Air Jordan III. John Wall Will Wear Reebok ZigTech Slash Posted: 23 Jun 2010 11:58 AM PDT Expected first overall draft pick John Wall signed a deal worth a reported $25 million to endorse Reebok for his first 5 years in the NBA. While many basketball and sneaker purists second-guessed his decision to join the brand, two guaranteed signature shoes were enough to get the Kentucky to wear the Vector on the court. Reebok has confirmed that though Wall will eventually wear shoes bearing his name, he’ll at least begin his rookie year in the ZigTech Slash, making him the first basketball player to endorse the new technology. Also given in a press release from Reebok is a date for the debut of this unique sneaker: October 15th. We all know that players’ on-court performances can translate into sales at sneaker shops. Will a breakout year for Wall get you into a pair of ZigTechs? Posted: 23 Jun 2010 11:28 AM PDT When we first showed you this New Balance 576 “Suede” Pack (Made in UK), those of you who commented really like the subtle, smooth look of this upcoming lineup. We now have learned that this New Balance 576 lineup will surface at select retailers some time in August. The New Balance 576 “Suede” Pack consists of four 576 colorways including red, blue grey and black (only three are shown here; see the black pair here). In case you didn’t know where these 576s were made, manufacturing location tag is located on the tongue. View detailed photos below. Nike Dunk Hi Light Bone/Black-Lime Posted: 23 Jun 2010 10:58 AM PDT Obviously, we see a plethora of Nike Dunk colorways each year; however, this year, we have oddly seen an abundance of different textures (synthetic leather, mesh, tumbled leather) on the model which originated in 1986. With that said, check out this new Nike Dunk Hi Light Bone/Black-Lime. Black tumbled leather is spotted on the toe area, midfoot, swoosh and heel panel, while a light bone suede is seen on the side panels, toe box among other sections. The lime-colored shoelaces give this Dunk a nice contrasting color scheme. Lastly, a single-stiched light bone midsole and a black outsole complete this shoe’s construction. Posted: 23 Jun 2010 10:28 AM PDT The Air Jordan 9 has been seen in a number of colorways for 2010, with “Citrus” serving as the most anticipated colorway thus far. Will “Charcoal,” a colorway that hasn’t been released since the OG pair dropped in 1994, dethrone that shoe and become the most sought-after Air Jordan 9 of the year? Black and Dark Charcoal suede come together on the upper, with the latter appearing on the mudguard. The midfoot is all black, as is the tongue, though both True Red and Dark Charcoal can be seen at the very top. Other red accents include the Jumpman on the outsole and the “23″ on the heel. The Dark Charcoal suede used looks to be a shade or two lighter than on the OGs, but is that enough to deter you, or are these a definite purchase for you come Fall? Nike Zoom N7 BB II Low “Trash Talk” Posted: 23 Jun 2010 09:58 AM PDT The N7 program by Nike is designed to promote health and wellness within Native American communities. We saw the release of a Huarache 09 N7 last year, but this shoe takes being for a good cause to the next level, as it’s constructed with recycled materials. Black squares are used for the mudguard and ankle, while white rectangles complete the upper. Challenge Red stitching makes its way along the sides, matching the liner. The midsole and tongue stripe show a blue color known as Cayman. These are available now at Nike Store.
