Nike Air Force 1 Hi Light Bone/White-Sport Red Posted: 30 Jun 2010 12:58 PM PDT Nike Sportswear unleashed an Air Force 1 Low Sport Red/Light Bone a couple of weeks ago in which many of you took a liking to. Nike has used a similar, reverse colorway on a newly-released Nike Air Force 1 Hi. This particular pair was shown to you earlier this month considering it released at select overseas retailers at the time, The Nike Air Force 1 Hi Light Bone/White-Sport Red has since showed up at select stateside retailers. It features a primarily light bone-colored base constructed of nubuck and leather. The toe area is done up in a solid leather texture, while the rest of the sneaker owns a check-like pattern giving it a rather interesting design cue. Lastly, a sport red Nike tongue logo and a gum bottom add to this Air Force 1’s appeal. Check your nearest Nike Sportswear retailer for this shoe now. Nike Hyperdunk 2010 “Think Pink” Posted: 30 Jun 2010 11:58 AM PDT
Nike continues to raise awareness for breast cancer by applying the can’t-miss “Think Pink” color scheme to a number of its basketball shoes. The “Think Pink” campaign was initiated by the late Kay Yow, the North Carolina State Women’s basketball coach from 1975-2009. The next you to feature this recognizable color scheme is the recently-released Nike Hyperdunk 2010. It simply features a metallic pink upper with white Nike branding on the heel, side panels (swoosh) and bottom of the outsole. Additionally, the Kay Yow Breast Cancer Fund logo is seen in white on the tongue. The Nike Hyperdunk 2010 “Think Pink” is set to release at the beginning of 2011. Vans Syndicate Bash Vulc “Hosoi” Posted: 30 Jun 2010 11:28 AM PDT This new Vans Syndicate sneaker pays tribute to Christian Hosoi, the legendary skater with a checkered past. A vulcanized version of the Bash, which WTAPS created in 2008, this shoe is now available to Japanese consumers in two colorways. Premium suede and nubuck work along the mudguard of both pairs. Meanwhile, the leather is perforated on the foremost panel and heel and is quilted elsewhere. The first pair is black and uses red accents, while the second uses the same colors, but relies on a red majority. Jordan Pro Strong Stealth/University Blue Posted: 30 Jun 2010 10:58 AM PDT The Pro Strong is one of the most popular Jordan Team shoe to ever hit shelves. Worn by the likes of Vin Baker, this shoe borrowed its style from the Air Jordan 13, but still holds its own in the looks department. This colorway just hit Eastbay’s online shelves. Stealth suede covers the upper, including the large panels along each side. A dark shade of grey, Light Graphite, adorns the liner, side panel trim and midsole, as well as the contrast stitching seen throughout. University Blue and white accents are used to break up all the grey and also add a UNC-tribute look to this shoe. Nike Zoom Hyperfuse “Creamsicle” Posted: 30 Jun 2010 10:28 AM PDT Earlier this week, Kevin Durant and his entourage attended the Niketown in Chicago for the release of the “Scoring Title” Nike KD II. Surprisingly, that wasn’t the only sneaker that caught the attendees’ attention. One of Durant’s associates showed up to the release event wearing a “Creamsicle” colorway of the newly-designed Nike Zoom Hyperfuse. If you recall, Kevin Durant and his ‘Broingtons’ unveiled the “Creamsicle” Nike KD II during a game against the Dallas Mavericks earlier in the NBA season. The Zoom Hyperfuse’s upper is smothered in the vibrant orange color scheme and blue hints show up in the form of the swoosh Kevin Durant/Nike branding and a small section of the sole. There is no word yet on when or if this shoe will release; however, if it were to release, would it be a definite purchase for you?
