LIVESTRONG x Mr. Cartoon x Nike Air Force 1

The LIVESTRONG x Nike joint effort became one of the best sneaker collections of 2009, and this LIVESTRONG x Mr. Cartoon x Nike Air Force 1 was one of, if not the best release from the aforementioned collection.

Around this time last year, (July 4th to be exact) the LIVESTRONG x Mr. Cartoon x Nike Air Force 1 released at select Nike Sportswear retailers nationwide. 24 Kilates x Las Tres ZZZ x Asics Gel Lyte Speed “San Fermín” Pack

Posted: 05 Jul 2010 11:58 AM PDT

With the Spanish San Fermines Festival right around the corner, 24 Kilates and Las Tres ZZZ are prepared to release their collaborative Asics Gel Lyte Speed and its special packaging.

As we know from previous looks at the “San Fermín” Pack, the kicks don a tan suede upper that draws their style from bota bags created by wineskin company Las Tres ZZZ. The three companies upped the ante with their packaging though, which is a wooden box, complete with special edition bottle of wine, bota bag and of course, sneakers. Outside of a Spanish connection, you’ll be hard pressed to grab your own when they release this Saturday.

Vans Era Medallion Brown/Dark-Brown

Posted: 05 Jul 2010 11:28 AM PDT

Vans Medallion Pack

It’s not too often that we uncover a sneaker that can pass as both an everyday casual shoe and a dress shoe. Many big name actors, actresses, and athletes have done it in the past and, with release of this new Vans Era “Medallion” in a classic wingtip style, you too can make an attempt at the style.

Following the SK8-Hi “Medallion” Pack we showed you last week, we have now spotted two Eras that feature the same elements. One pair contains a dark brown heel cup, toe cup, and tongue with a lighter brown side panel that stretches up into the lace eyelets. Bronze lace eyelets, an off-white sole, and intricate stitching on the toe box make very nice additions to this Vans classic. The second pair, shown below, is simply constructed in an all-black leather finishing.

PF Flyers Sumfun

PF Flyers Sumfun

Just the other day, we took a look at what we thought was the entire lineup of PF Flyers for this month. Somehow these three colorways of the Sumfun slipped through the cracks at first, though we’re now seeing them in vivid detail.

Navy and forest green canvas are used on the two Lows, as is dark brown leather. The High uses the latter material on the ankle, pairing it with grey canvas on the lower area of the upper and a gum sole.

Air Jordan 13 “Cool Grey” Bin 23 Sample Another Look

Posted: 05 Jul 2010 10:28 AM PDT

Air Jordan 13 Cool Grey Bin 23 Sample

At the beginning of the year, photos of this Air Jordan 13 “Cool Grey” Bin 23 sample surfaced on the web and positively surprised the sneaker community. This sneaker had many of you wishing it was the actual Bin 23 offering as opposed to the Air Jordan 13 Premio that will soon release.

Gentry Humphrey was spotted wearing this shoe at the Quai 54 Streetball Tournament in Paris last week. Cool Grey is used throughout the side panels and tongue, while the rest of the sneaker features minimal white and black hints. One of the more interesting features on this pair is the Bin 23 seal spotted on the tongue. Who else needs Jordan Brand to release these over the official pair coming soon?

Li-Ning Upcoming Basketball Footwear Line

Posted: 05 Jul 2010 09:58 AM PDT

Li-Ning Basketball Footwear Line

Baron Davis’ Li-Ning BD Doom was definitely one of the pleasant surprises in our Kicks On Court this season. To many sneaker enthusiast’s liking, Li-Ning officially hit the US market in mid-February with a wide array of basketball sneakers. This particular post, which reveals Li-Ning’s upcoming basketball footwear line, shows that the storied brand, is not a one-hit-wonder by no means.

The photos reveal a slew of basketball sneakers and mid-top trainers among other interesting kicks. The colorways, which are mostly seen here in red, leaves us to believe Baron Davis will be rocking some of these kicks to match his Los Angeles Clippers jerseys. Another interesting aspect of this line is a brand logo reconstruction and new slogan for Li-Ning. View additional photos below.

Nike Air Max LeBron VIII White/White Sample

Posted: 05 Jul 2010 09:28 AM PDT

Nike Air Max LeBron VIII White/White Sample

When the Nike Air Max LeBron VIII was first spotted, it was wearing an all white colorway and only visible in thumbnail-sized teasers. Having since seen a Miami-/Cleveland-/Chicago-ready black/white-red shoe, we know fully what this shoe will look like when LBJ laces up next season. This all white kids early sample surfaced recently though, giving us a better idea of just what features King James’ shoe owns.

As noted above, this shoe is a kids-sized sample and subject to change. One feature that is sure to arrive at retailers differently than we see it here is the LBJ23 logo on the heel. LeBron vowed months ago to change his jersey number to 6, attributing the decision to the idea that no player in the NBA should be allowed to wear Michael Jordan’s number. Are you anticipating the release of the Air Max LeBron VIII or stockpiling VIIs while you can?
