Posted: 19 Jul 2010 12:58 PM PDT A new Vans release, dubbed the “Canvas & Leather” Pack, has surfaced at select retailers including Extra Butter. The pack features one pair of the Era model and one pair of the Zapato Del Barco in a stylish, dual-textured construction. Specifically, both sneakers are primarily constructed of navy blue canvas and feature brown leather hints in the form of the tongue and top laceholders. Lastly, a tartan inner lining, along with a white, vulcanized rubber sole, finishes these sneakers off. View detailed photos below. Posted: 19 Jul 2010 12:28 PM PDT Vans’ California and Vault products may have been drawing most of the attention away from Vans’ in-line releases as of late, but the Cali company hasn’t lost a step in the arena that keeps them a staple on so many people’s feet. The “Glitch Checker” Pack features three Slip-Ons and a lone Authentic as of right now. All four feature a broken checker pattern that looks very much like a two-color digital camo print. The Slip-Ons come in blue, green and white/black colorways. The final colorway is used on the Authentic. Nom de Guerre x Converse Skidgrip First String Posted: 19 Jul 2010 11:28 AM PDT For the next model in the ever-growing First String line, Converse asked Nom de Guerre to collaborate on a Skidgrip low. The upper is matte black while metal eyelets, a tan liner and ribbed sole provide contrast. This silhouette is one we’ve seen a number of times, but the texture on the sole adds a nice bit of flavor to this simple design. Check for these at select First String retailers on July 30th. Update Regarding ATF Crew x Nike Collaboration Posted: 19 Jul 2010 10:44 AM PDT Over the weekend, Air Force 1 addict Mayor revealed a photo of what many thought was an upcoming ATF x Nike collaborative effort. We have now learned the specifics about the teaser Mayor posted. The ATF Crew, consisting of DJ Clark Kent, Mayor, DJ Greg Street and All Day, are set to introduce a joint effort with Nike; however, the photo that Mayor posted was simply one of his latest, personal Bespoke creations. That said, this sneaker is NOT a part of the upcoming ATF Crew x Nike collaboration. However, who else is ready to see what’s in store for this upcoming collaboration? We expect to see creativity at its highest level © George Kiel III for NiceKicks.com, 2010. | Permalink | 3 comments | Add to del.icio.us |
