Posted: 23 Jul 2010 11:56 AM PDT Lance is a little busy at the moment doing what he does best in France, but back home in Texas a special Livestrong make up of the Nike Zoom Bruin has landed at his bike shop Mellow Johnny’s. The solid red upper utilizes a blend of nylon mesh and suede with Livestrong yellow contrast stitching outlining the leather swoosh. A yellow outsole is wrapped in a dark gum vulcanized construction. The shoe is finished off in the comfort department with a Zoom Air heel. The Livestrong x Nike Zoom Bruin is available now at Mellow Johnny’s for $65 benefitting the Lance Armstrong Foundation. Nike Air Force 1 Black/Chlorine Blue Posted: 23 Jul 2010 11:28 AM PDT An upcoming Nike Air Force 1 has been spotted and should be on shelves in the coming months. It clearly borrows from the Nike Basketball catalog, seeing as Chlorine Blue–last seen on the “All-Star 2010″ releases–is used as an accent. Black leather provides a base and the heel-most panel is patent, as are the Swoosh and heel tab. More Chlorine Blue can be found on the outsole as well. Does this use of a bright color accent work well against the simple base of the upper? A Pearl Foamposite upper is met with an icy blue outsole and black lacing detail. Black branding pops out on the side setting apart the Pro from its Foamposite One cousin. Red herringbone pads and upper accents contrast the mostly Pearl and Black sneaker for a distinct look. Posted: 23 Jul 2010 09:58 AM PDT Far East fans of the Final’s MVP get shown love with the Nike Zoom Kobe V “China”, designed specifically for the Chinese National team. The Chinese Basketball team will be sporting this shoe on court as they compete in the FIBA World Basketball Championship later this summer. While there’s no denying the admiration Kobe gets from his Asian fans, the US supporters are not left out as this colorway is now available at Nike Store.
