Posted: 14 Aug 2010 12:43 PM PDT This week, we showcased photos and information on a wide variety of sneakers. The World Basketball Festival sneaker releases undoubtedly dominated our news; therefore, we had many kicks to choose from. With that said, check out our Nice Kicks Staff Picks which includes a diverse collection of kicks. What was your favorite sneaker of the week? George Kiel III Although the “Chili”, “Neon”, “Slate” and “Comet” Nike Air Max 95s are considered classic colorways of this sneaker, I think this “Photo Blue” pair one of the most underrated, new colorways on this iconic silhouette. Photo Blue has been seen on just about every Nike model this year; however, this sneaker makes the best use of it in my opinion. Nike Trainer 1 White/Club Purple-Varsity Maize Posted: 13 Aug 2010 05:28 PM PDT The Trainer 1.2 is obviously Nike’s current darling sneaker in regards to training; however, we have spotted a new colorway of its predecessor, the Nike Trainer 1, at select retailers worldwide. This pair is sure to lure some of you Los Angeles Lakers fans out there. A Club Purple swoosh, outlined in Varsity Maize, rests on the Flywire technology design, and is paired with tongue/heel branding and bottom laceholders of the same color. As for the predominance of the upper, white leather smothers most of the base and a Metallic Silver line design separates the upper from the Free Sole. View additional photos below.
