Posted: 04 Sep 2010 12:43 PM PDT The highly-anticipated “Pearl” Nike Air Foamposite Pro released yesterday. Did you purchase or pass? Is it the best Foamposite-themed release of the year so far? This past weekend, we spotted rapper Q-Tip at the Rock the Bells Concert wearing the Silver/Black Nike Air Foamposite Pro. We also saw Spike Lee rocking the “Cool Grey” Jordan Spizike. Check out our Footwear Faceoff: Spike Lee vs Q-Tip and let us know who you think wore the better sneaker. Take a look at some of your favorite celebrities, including Fabolous, Common, Will Smith and Chris Brown, in our Celebrity Sneaker Stalker. At the beginning of this week, we spotted USA team member Kevin Love rocking a never-before-seen Nike Air Max 24-7 colorway. No word yet on if or when this shoe will release. How does this pair rank amongst the previous colorways we have seen? Check out our Performance Reviews of the Nike Zoom Hyperfuse, the Nike Zoom LeBron Soldier IV and the Nike Hyperdunk 2010. adidas Originals Stan Smith 80s Casual Black/Brown Posted: 04 Sep 2010 11:58 AM PDT When a sporty runner won’t get the job done, a casual and classy sneaker always will. This adidas Originals Stan Smith 80s Casual is set to release later this fall, providing an option for you to keep a toned down look. Black leather is used for the upper, with the exception of the brown turned down tab found on the collar. The dark gum sole matches that panel and the liner. adidas Originals Stan Smith 80s Casual adidas Originals Stan Smith 80s Casual Black/Brown adidas Originals Stan Smith 80s Casual Black/Brown adidas Originals Stan Smith 80s Casual Black/Brown adidas Originals Stan Smith 80s Casual Black/Brown adidas Originals Stan Smith 80s Casual Black/Brown Source: Crooked Tongues © Alex Kroviak for NiceKicks.com, 2010. | Permalink | One comment | Add to del.icio.us |
In Retrospect: Air Jordan “Hall of Fame” Pack Posted: 04 Sep 2010 11:13 AM PDT Around this time last year (September 5th to be exact), the Air Jordan “Hall of Fame” Pack released nationwide. Jordan Brand combined an original silhouette, a hybrid sneaker featuring traits from his signature line and the latest sneaker from his signature line at the time. Although many expected a more powerful release to commemorate his Hall of Fame induction, this pack was still well-received by some in the sneaker community. With that said, we would like to take you back into the past to share with us your thoughts during this release. Did you buy the Air Jordan “Hall of Fame” Pack and was it worth the money that it was sold for (AJ1 $125, 6 Rings $175, AJ 2009 $200)? If you did not purchase it, are you wishing you would snagged one of them? Lastly, was this one of your favorite Jordan Brand releases of 2009? Hit the jump to share with us your thoughts on the Air Jordan “Hall of Fame” Pack! Jordan Ol’ School IV Black/Metallic Silver Posted: 04 Sep 2010 10:28 AM PDT Jordan Brand’s most recent team shoe, the Ol’ School IV, is now available at select retailers, including Eastbay. The fourth model in the line, this silhouette possesses a mesh and suede upper, with this particular colorway making use of elephant print on the toe, collar and quarter panel areas. While it doesn’t own the same mystique as Air Jordan PEs, expect to see a lot of Jordan Brand pro and collegiate athletes wearing these on the court this season.
