Posted: 13 Sep 2010 12:58 PM PDT Jordan Brand is set to release a newly-developed performance silhouette dubbed the Jordan Pure J. If we take this model name literally, only Jordan Brand members such as Ray Allen, Joe Johnson, Mike Bibby should be wearing this sneaker. The Pure J possesses a primarily perforated suede-textured base combined with patent leather overlay that separates the sole from the upper. It also owns a visible Air sole unit on the heel and a seemingly high-cut construction for added ankle support. The Jordan Pure J will release in two colorways (Black/Metallic Silver & White/Varsity Red-Black) on October 1st, 2010 for $110. Nike Air Max Trainer 1 Roger Federer PE “2010 US Open” Posted: 13 Sep 2010 12:28 PM PDT As one of the faces of Nike Tennis (and for that matter, the sport of tennis), Roger Federer is constantly in the international sports spotlight. It should come as no surprise then that Nike constantly outfits him with one-off custom kicks and gear. This Air Max Trainer 1 is another example of the perks you receive when you’re a world class athlete. Designed for the recently-completed 2010 US Open, this Trainer features a navy and white upper, with “NYC 2010″ laser engraved graphics on the lateral side of the heels. These won’t be landing at retailers, but something similar can be created, sans lasered heel logo, at Nike iD. Posted: 13 Sep 2010 11:28 AM PDT Over the past couple of weeks, we have shown you a few colorways of the newly-designed Jordan Hallowed Ground Low. Although the original Jordan Hallowed Ground didn’t receive as much as attention as other basketball shoes last season, this Jordan Hallowed Ground Low can potentially win some fans thanks to the low-cut basketball shoe craze. A couple of Jordan Hallowed Ground Low colorways will release at the top of each of the last three months of the year. The pair shown above can easily pass for a Chris Paul player exclusive. It contains a mainly black nubuck upper with hints of University Blue throughout the upper. Another pair (shown below) contains a Chicago-like color scheme that reminds us of the Air Jordan X.
