PUMA 917 Houston Street Lo White/Aurora Yellow Posted: 18 Sep 2010 12:43 PM PDT Simple and artsy characterize the PUMA 917 Houston Street Lo. This White/Aurora Yellow pair uses a mostly white canvas as the upper featuring blunt and bold highlights that give the sneaker a drawn, on 2-D feel. Bright and speckled accents reminiscent of the Yo! MTV Raps PUMA line add vivacity to the otherwise unanticipated silhouette. These cartoon kicks can be copped now at PUMA. adidas Originals Attitude High “NBA” Posted: 18 Sep 2010 11:13 AM PDT The Attitude High is one of adidas marquee sneakers from the 1980s. The silhouette and its ability to be customized in a multitude of ways make it a timeless classic. Today, adidas has treated us with an NBA inspired colorway featuring colors pulled straight from the hard court. A white leather is highlighted entirely with blue, yellow and orange highlights. Yellow highlights can be seen on the inner liner and heel while a royal blue tone can be seen tongue tag and famous three stripe logo. Finally, a bright orange color is used throughout the midsole and heel to finish off this tribute to the NBA. Nike ACG Rongbuk GTX Fall 2010 Posted: 18 Sep 2010 10:28 AM PDT It’s not too often that we see Nike venture into new marketing sectors. We all know the brand mainly for it’s innovative basketball designs. However, today, we have spotted a threesome of new Nike ACG Rongbuk GTXs, an everyday walking and hiking shoe that advertises both breathability and a completely waterproof design. The three pairs shown here feature predominately black, grey and brown upper with hints of green and red on Nike Swoosh. Look for these three pairs of “performance” sneakers to release soon at online and retail stores. Source: West © Albert Lin for NiceKicks.com, 2010. | Permalink | One comment | Add to del.icio.us |
Release Reminder: Jordan 6 Rings “3M” Posted: 17 Sep 2010 05:45 PM PDT There has been a load of retro Air Jordan releases this year, and a few more must-haves are scheduled for the holiday season; however, tomorrow, September 18th, 2010, we will witness the most anticipated non-retro Jordan release of the year in the form of the Jordan 6 Rings “3M” for $160. Although many sneaker enthusiasts have criticized the Jordan 6 Rings model over its two years in existence, a lot of you have labeled this the best Jordan 6 Rings style to date and rightfully so. The upper is entirely constructed of a reflective, 3M texture and is finished with an icy sole. Additionally, minimal Light Graphite accents, such as the midsole, inner lining and laces, provide nice, subtle color blocking. Is this a definite pickup for you tomorrow? Converse Chuck Taylor Hi Brown Suede Posted: 17 Sep 2010 05:43 PM PDT Just in time for fall, Converse has unleashed this suede Chuck Taylor Hi in a very natural brown hue. Because sneakers are still about grabbing someone’s attention though, the Star Chevron brand made sure to include hits of red throughout, including on the cord laces. Upper-matching leather can be seen on the midfoot and heel and as (almost always) a white and black vulcanized sole is implemented on the underside. This new take on the classic Chuck is available now at Nice Kicks and other select retailers.
