atmos x Secret Base x New Balance 996 Posted: 20 Sep 2010 11:58 AM PDT For atmos’ upcoming New Balance collaboration, the retailer partnered up with Japanese toy shop Secret Base and got a little help from a tattoo artist located on the other side of the world in Austin, TX. Chris Trevino provided not only the tattoo-inspired Tiger art that covers the insoles, but also was the inspiration for the stripes that adorn the shoe’s mudguard. The N logo backing also shows tiger stripes. Gold is used all over the shoe, though the base is black and grey. atmos x Secret Base x New Balance 996 Source: hypebeast © Alex Kroviak for NiceKicks.com, 2010. | Permalink | One comment | Add to del.icio.us |
