| Nike Air Max 24-7 ‘Glass Blue’ Posted: 24 Sep 2010 01:13 PM PDT Glass Blue has been a constant color scheme on Nike sneaker releases this year. Namely, we have spotted an Air CB 34 and a Dunk Hi draped in this color just to name a couple. The latest Nike model to contain Glass Blue hints comes in the form of the ever-so-popular Nike Air Max 24-7. Specifically, the Glass Blue hints appear on the full-length Air sole unit, the laceholders, branding and other sections throughout the upper. The rest of the upper is colored in Neutral Grey/Black and a strip of 3M is seen along the mudguard. Look for the Nike Air Max 24-7 ‘Glass Blue’ to hit retailers next month. | Air Jordan Fusion 4 White/Varsity Red-Black “Laser” Posted: 24 Sep 2010 12:37 PM PDT Just yesterday, we gave you a full release report on the upcoming Air Jordan Fusion 4 Black/Varsity Red-Stealth which is set to appear in stores during the month of November. However, we have learned that another, similar Air Jordan Fusion 4 will drop a month earlier. This particular Air Jordan Fusion 4 obviously draws most of its inspiration from the “Laser” Air Jordan IV. Its predominately white leather base is overlayed by gold laser-etched drawings, while minimal Varsity Red and Black hints provide nice color blocking on the base. | Nike Air Force 1 High Black/Gum Posted: 24 Sep 2010 12:28 PM PDT A combination of tumbled and smooth leather complimented by a gum outsole make the Nike Air Force 1 High Black/Gum a throwback to the days of AF1 supremacy. An all black upper mixes and matches offsetting leather finishes topped off by a removable ankle strap. A black midsole is met by a gum outsole giving this high top Uptown a feeling of class and cool. Look for this colorway to hit select Nike accounts in October. Designed by UNDFTD’s James Bond, this runner owns a blue suede majority and minimal branding. Replacing the standard three stripes in the quarter panel is grey mesh. Black and white both serve as accent colors, as does gold foil on the tongue. Last year, we saw a large increase in the brands popularity because of the success of players such as Derrick Rose and Dwight Howard. While the past few years saw numerous AJ and Air Force concoctions, it appears the future lies in Air Max inspired Jordan mashups. The Jordan Comfort Viz Air 10 features an Air Jordan 10 inspired upper set to the tone of a Nike Air Max 97 midsole. This colorway features a predominately royal upper complimented by black lining and tongue detail along with metallic silver accents. The AM 97 midsole is white with a transparent blue outsole. Whether or not you enjoy the current hybrid direction, expect to see the Air Jordan 12 and 13 to also get the Viz Air treatment. It is common practice for Nike to bring out new performance based basketball sneakers on a year to year basis due to newer technology, materials, and designs. The Nike Lava Dunk however, pays tribute to a completely different market. This sneaker, designed as part of the Athletics Far East (“AFE”) collection, combines the technology and silhouette of an everyday sneaker that is compatible for any situation. In addition to the Nike Dunk upper, an EVA buffed midsole with boot-like hardware, ACG logo, wax laces, and water repellent upper make this holiday 2010 release something to look forward to. Furthermore, the addition of a Nike Zoom sockliner and Lava Dunk sole unit take comfort to a whole new level.
