Video: Converse – God Shammgod Teaches Sammy Baca to Ball Posted: 30 Sep 2010 12:58 PM PDT Following the Converse ‘Join the Procession’ introduction yesterday, we now give you a look at one of the specific episodes in Converse’s new campaign. The latest installment sees former NBA player God Shammgod teaching his ever-so-popular, signature ‘Shammgod’ move to Converse Skateboarding ambassador Sammy Baca. As expected, Baca struggles on his first attempt; however, view the video above to see Baca also do a basketball move that is seemingly impossible for Shammgod. © George Kiel III for NiceKicks.com, 2010. | Permalink | One comment | Add to del.icio.us |

Posted: 30 Sep 2010 10:58 AM PDT While we’ve seen a number of “Supreme x Nike” releases since the New York skate brand first launched, the Supreme Nike SB 94 is a completely new silhouette for this year. Supreme was founded in 1994, which explains the name of this high top. It also explains the design philosophy behind the shoe. Luke Meier, the creative brain behind Supreme’s sneaker designs, wanted to construct a shoe that honored the days when New York City skaters wore basketball shoes like the Air Jordan 1 and other kicks not designed for skating. Details include a contrasting toe box and a hit of Foamposite on the heel. Look for all four colorways in November.
