In addition, a brown Swoosh, hot red laces, hot red outsole, and white midsole help give this pair an attractive bright feeling. A final hit of safari print on the tongue tab and heel tab finish this pair off. Check out more photos after the jump. Posted: 16 Oct 2010 02:28 PM PDT This week brought about some amazing sneaker information on upcoming releases for the end of this year and 2011. For example, we received some very detailed photos of the highly anticipated “Dark Neon Royal” Nike Air Foamposite One (shown above) and the Air Jordan 13 “Altitude”. Also, we learned of new details regarding the “Banned” Air Jordan 1 and constructed features around the “Eggplant” Nike 1/2 Cent and Michael Jordan’s current NBA opinions. Take a look at the hottest topics on Nice Kicks this week! In surprising news, we learned of the upcoming Air Jordan 1 Hi “Banned” owning a Nike Air logo. If you recall, we have not seen the Nike Air tongue logo on a retro Air Jordan since the Air Jordan 1s that re-released in 2001. Would you like to see the Nike Air logo return for good? Check out our Retro These 15 Jordans with Nike Air (Please) feature. Check out some of your favorite celebrities, such as Wiz Khalifa, Nelly, Kanye West, Jay-Z and others, in our Celebrity Sneaker Stalker. In addition to the detailed photos of the shoe, we also received images of the “Banned” Air Jordan 1′s packaging. To coincide with the release of the “Eggplant” Nike 1/2 Cent, our Nice Kicks staff compiled a list of the best eggplant-colored kicks. View our Purple Stuff: Nike’s 14 “Eggplant” Sneakers. In a recent interview, Michael Jordan claimed he could drop 100 points in today's NBA. Although he didn’t reach that mark in his career, MJ had many monstrous, memorable games that left many in awe. Check out our Century Mark? MJ’s Top 10 Scoring Games. The upcoming “Altitude” Air Jordan 13′s texture is noticeably different from the original pair. Instead of a black leather upper, Jordan Brand has elected to replace this original material with a soft, mesh-like material. Still, is this a must-have for the holiday season? © George Kiel III for NiceKicks.com, 2010. | Permalink | 7 comments | Add to del.icio.us |
Posted: 16 Oct 2010 01:43 PM PDT Based on the Staff Picks for this week, it looks like the team is pretty split on what season it is right now. One half of the squad chose dark, winter-ready kicks, while the other chose shoes more fit for the middle of summer. Then again, it is 85 degrees in Austin right now. Which shoe was your favorite from this past week? Head to the comments section and let us know which shoes you were most excited to see over the past seven days. Matt Halfhill I have long been a fan of FREE, but the latest Free Run outsole is ridiculous. Ridiculously comfortable, lightweight, and very flexible. Supporting the fight against cancer by supporting Livestong with this purchase only makes this more of a no brainer purchase.
