Posted: 29 Oct 2010 01:05 PM PDT This past Wednesday, Nike Basketball released the Nike LeBron 8 Black/Varsity Red-White and the Nike LeBron 8 “China” to coincide with the start of the 2010-2011 NBA season. It is only a matter of time before LeBron’s eighth begins to show up in an excessive amount of colorways. Check out these detailed photos of White/Gold-Varsity Red pair which has been dubbed the “Un-China”. As seen in the photos, this shoe features a color scheme similar to that seen on the previously-released “China” LeBron 8. White leather makes up the majority of the upper, while Varsity Red piping is located throughout this shoe’s base. To coincide with the piping element, this LeBron 8 also contains red laces, a red midsole and a red inner lining. Other attributes include gold eyelets, a visible Air sole unit and lion head logos on the tongue and heel. Is this version of the LeBron 8 better than the actual “China” release? Nike ACG Wildwood Black/Olive Khaki Posted: 29 Oct 2010 12:43 PM PDT The Nike ACG Wildwood is a great shoe in almost every facet. It’s attractive, comfortable and built to withstand elements that would spell certain doom for most other sneakers. This new colorway arrives just in time for the holiday, or rather, hunting season. Black perforated leather provides a base against which Olive Khaki suede contrasts on the mudguard and Swoosh. The real accent work comes from another hue though, in the form of bright orange forefoot and quarter panel trim and a mesh liner. Tying the whole shoe together is an off-white midsole. You can grab this rugged Nike now available at select retailers, including Nice Kicks in Austin, TX. adidas Originals Fortitude Mid True Blue Posted: 29 Oct 2010 11:58 AM PDT The adidas Originals Fortitude Mid won over a lot of readers with its boot/sneaker hybrid design. The “Foot Print” Pack provided three brightly-accented sneakers in a group and latest drop was designed in a similar vein but arrives alone. The True Blue mesh, leather and suede upper is accented by a black patent leather forefoot and neon hits on the midfoot, outsole and elsewhere. Grey cord laces and tongue tip work to add a little neutrality to the otherwise very bright sneaker. You can grab a pair now at UBIQ for $80. adidas Originals Fortitude Mid © Alex Kroviak for NiceKicks.com, 2010. | Permalink | No comment | Add to del.icio.us |

Nike Air Griffey Max GD II Black/Electric Green Posted: 29 Oct 2010 10:58 AM PDT Fresh new colorways from the Ken Griffey, Jr. series keep making their way into the front of the lineup. The Nike Air Griffey Max GD II Black/Electric Green finds the classic full-length Air swingman sneaker in a colorway reminiscent of the Nike Air Max LeBron 7 “Dunkman”. A blacked out upper comes alive with electric green accents on a jewel Swoosh, Air Max cushioning, and translucent outsole. Look for this colorway to hit Nike accounts such as Nice Kicks in Austin, TX this November. Air Jordan XVI Michael Finley PE Posted: 29 Oct 2010 10:10 AM PDT Whether suiting up for in Boston, San Antonio, Dallas or his first home, Phoenix, Michael Finley has always had nice kicks. These Air Jordan XVIs, which recently surfaced on eBay, are from his early days working for Mark Cuban. The upper is royal blue mesh and suede, contrasting the white leather mudguard and dark blue patent leather toe. Clearly Finley preferred to wear his shoes without the removable sheath, allowing the silver Jumpman emblazoned near the collar to show proudly. If you’re a size 15, serious Jordan collector or Michael Finley fan, you’ll be happy to know you can grab these kicks on eBay now for $650.
