Posted: 02 Nov 2010 12:37 PM PDT While J-Kidd may currently rep PEAK, there was a time when he wore Jordans on court. This Air Jordan 13 Jason Kidd PE dates back to his days in New Jersey as a member of the run-and-gun Nets. Eerily similar to the White/Team Red retro that released around the same time, this true red PE also uses a white leather upper with a flint grey toe box. Jason’s nickname and number grace the tongue above the branding for the custom touch. If you’re looking to add to your PE collection or happen to be a size 14 looking to break necks, make a play at these on eBay. Nike Zoom Hyperfuse Brandon Roy PE “Away” Posted: 02 Nov 2010 11:58 AM PDT Brandon Roy has worn some pretty nice Zoom Hyperfuse PEs since the model first debuted last postseason. And while we know he has a special red PE headed to retail soon, this colorway has only been seen previously in yesterday’s Kicks On Court. The upper is almost all black and shows a white Swoosh, which provides a great base against which the bright red outsole, liner and BR7 logo can contrast. The mesh-like Hyperfuse build also allows the inner liner to show through. There’s no word on whether this shoe will ever make it to stores, but you can stay up to date with Roy’s footwear in Kicks On Court all season. Nike All Court Low Black/Sail & Burgundy/Sail Posted: 02 Nov 2010 11:28 AM PDT The Nike All Court Low released in some very eye-popping color schemes earlier in the year such as “Hot Lime” and “Wineberry”. However, we will begin to see many subtle colored All Court colorways throughout November and December. Both new pairs feature solid-colored leather constructions with Sail hints including the rubber toe cap and the vulcanized rubber sole. Additionally, the shoelaces are colored in Sail. Colorways include black/sail and burgundy/sail. Posted: 02 Nov 2010 10:58 AM PDT When he’s not kickin’ it with Slim Chin, Dwight Howard stays busy on the court grabbin’ boards and swatting shots. He does so in the adidas Beast. This special “Superman” colorway pays to tribute Dwight’s alias and alter ego. Baring both the Superman logo and Howard’s number, the signature relays strong ties. Blue accents and a swirled color outsole, similar to the ice cream of the same name, finish off this heroic colorway. These are available for pre-order now at Eastbay. adidas Beast adidas Beast "Superman" © Ian Stonebrook for NiceKicks.com, 2010. | Permalink | One comment | Add to del.icio.us |
Nike Air Foamposite One “Metallic Pewter” Another Look Posted: 02 Nov 2010 10:28 AM PDT The “Metallic Pewter” Air Foamposite One has had readers and sneakerheads going crazy since the day news of its upcoming release first broke, and that was before we even had a picture of it. Obviously, this anticipated sneaker will have people talking up until its spring 2011 release, and probably then some. Like with all Foamposite shoes, the exact color is hard to capture in pictures, which has led to this shoe appearing charcoal grey, silver and even an almost champagne hue. This look will likely only cause more debate about just what color this sneaker really is. Nike Air Force 1 Low Deep Burgundy/White Posted: 02 Nov 2010 09:58 AM PDT Nike will continue to release the Air Force 1 in dark-toned, winter-ready color scheme for the next couple of months. This new pair owns a Deep Burgundy colored upper constructed of nubuck. White contrasts nicely against the Deep Burgundy upper in the form of the swoosh, outsole, inner lining and branding (tongue, sole). One of the more interesting aspects on this shoe is the 3M touch on the toe area. View detailed photos below. Nike Zoom Hyperfuse Black/Volt Posted: 02 Nov 2010 09:28 AM PDT After a debut in last season’s playoffs and an impressive run in the FIBA World Championship, the Nike Zoom Hyperfuse continues to be one of the most popular kicks on court. With a host of team based colorways and PEs we see a true outlier in this Black/Volt colorway. A predominately black upper is set off with a volt midsole and volt lining. While this colorway has popped up overseas before you can get it now at Nike. Vans California Era 45 Turtle Dove/Rust Posted: 02 Nov 2010 08:58 AM PDT Fresh in at select retailers is this new colorway of the classic Vans Era. The California collection is responsible for this shoe, which utilizes two nice fall colors on the tumbled leather and nubuck upper. The former material is used for the Turtle Dove quarter panel and the latter owns a Rust hue on the forefoot and heel tab. Leather laces add a feeling of distinction as they weave in and out of metal eyelets. If you’re after a pair of this refined Vans, you can grab them now at DQM.
