In Retrospect: “Rising Sun” Air Jordan 12 Posted: 21 Nov 2010 12:13 PM PST In 2009, Jordan Brand blessed us with a ton of Air Jordan 12 releases. The majority of them were re-releases or colorways we have seen in the past such as the “Flu Game”, the “Nubuck” and the White/Red Air Jordan 12s. However, the “Rising Sun” Air Jordan 12s were the lone, new colorway of MJ’s 12th signature model to debut in 2009. While it didn’t receive as much attention as the aforementioned colorways, the “Rising Sun” Air Jordan 12, which released a year ago today, was still favored by many sneaker enthusiasts. Did you purchase the "Rising Sun" Air Jordan 12, and was it worth the money you paid for it? If not, are you wishing you would have snagged them last November? How does the “Rising Sun” rank amongst the other Air Jordan 12s that released last year (“Flu Game”, “Nubuck”, White/Red)? Lastly, was this one of your favorite Air Jordan Retro releases of 2009? Let us know your thoughts on the "Rising Sun" Air Jordan 12 in the comment section below! Nike Air Royal Mid VT Black/Black Posted: 21 Nov 2010 11:28 AM PST The Nike Air Royal Mid VT has been spotted in a new and more sophisticated colorway for this upcoming fall and winter season. This particular pair is completely monochromatic, yet still maintains a flashy look with a healthy dose of patent leather on the toe box. This definitely catches the eye to what would otherwise be a relatively routine pair. Check out more photos below and let us know what you think. Nike Shox BB Pro Brad Miller PE Posted: 21 Nov 2010 10:43 AM PST Brad Miller is a peculiar guy. Part outdoorsman, part NBA hooper, Miller is now an important member of the Houston Rockets. To follow the Shox Vision PEs he wore with the Bulls, Nike has prepared his Shox BB Pro in similar fashion. White tumbled leather covers most the upper, while iridescent red fills out the remainder. The Shox sole and heel padding are also red. Featured on the tongue is a large alligator insignia–a nod to Miller’s hunting hobby. As we mentioned earlier, Gilbert Arenas laced up the “Space Jam” Air Jordan 11 a few times this past week. North Carolina rapper J. Cole also sported some classic Air Jordan 11s this past week in the form of the “Concords”.
