The upper is mostly black, while white trim and blue hits appear throughout. Multicolor laces are a nice touch, as is the “jewel” tongue Swoosh. Nike Zoom Kobe VI “Christmas” Detailed Photos Posted: 23 Nov 2010 10:13 AM PST Tentatively titled the “Christmas” Zoom Kobe VI, the Black Mamba’s sixth Nike signature will appear in this head-turning colorway in the coming months. Already salivated over by sneakerheads following our sneak peek yesterday, this shoe is a great lifestyle release for the performance-oriented sneaker. The Lime Green gradient on the upper is contrasted by Varsity Red hits at various points, completing the holiday color pairing. Another take on this shoe’s story color is that this is the Zoom Kobe VI’s “Bruce Lee” colorway. Following in the theme started by the Zoom Kobe V “Bruce Lee” drawing its colorway from Lee’s tracksuit in “Game of Death,” this shoe is possibly an ode to his role as Kato in “The Green Hornet” TV series. Both explanations are interesting and plausible, but only time will tell which is the correct story. Either way, this sneaker will definitely get you noticed and should be hard to come by when it releases.
