DC LIFE "Please Stand By" Pack

Long before the days of digital HD picture, TVs would often lose their signal and revert to an unpleasant multicolor screen of squares of worse, a fuzzy grey effect. While it didn’t make for good viewing, those days make for a great two shoe pack from DC LIFE. Dressed in black suede and leather, this Admiral and Sector 7 are loaded with details on their respective builds. The Admiral’s liner mimicks the aforementioned colored screen and the tongue and ankle display “snowy” panels. The Sector 7 uses a similar design scheme, sans the color blocks, and both sit on icy soles that reveal “Please Stand By” on the underside of each shoe. Both are now available at DCShoes.com.

Duke's Mason Plumlee Breaks Out OG Jordan

Last night the Duke Blue Devils hosted the Michigan State Spartans in a battle of top ten teams. While the game was incredible with the Blue Devils ultimately outlasting the Spartans it was a sighting on the feet that we’re still thinking about. Mason Plumlee, a starting forward/center for Duke, rocked a pair of Air Jordan 17 White/College Blue. We can only assume that these are originals (no signs of a retro) and can only hope that he brought them in the silver suitcase. Plumlee had a great night posting a double-double and also snatching up 5 steals. Is it the shoes?

size? x Jon Burgerman x Puma First Round “10th Anniversary”

Throughout 2010, UK retailer size? has collaborated with a number of brands for its 10th year anniversary. For the 5th and final 10th year anniversary joint effort, size? has partnered with artist Jon Burgerman and Puma for a special release of the First Round. One pair contains a mainly white leather base with red usese artwork on the side panels. This artwork is inspired by the sneakers he currently owns and the “lives” they lead. The second pair possesses the same design, yet, it main color is red. The white pair is limited to 130 pairs, while the red pair will only be available in 40 pairs. Both will hit retailers on December 11th, 2010. Stay tuned as more photos and info should surface soon.

Anta KG 1 Detailed Images

This season marks Kevin Garnett’s first year as a member of Anta. His first signature, the Anta KG 1, has been warn by Garnett and seen on Kicks On Court. Today we get detailed images of his new Anta model. Home and away color schemes draw off the Boston Celtics using dark green and gold accents. Garnett’s number 5 appears on the eyelet with his new logo gracing the midfoot strap and the Anta logo appearing near the heel. New pictures give us a better look at the detail on the tongue, heel, and outsole inspired by the headlights of the Audi A8. What are your thoughts on KG’s Anta sig? Tell us in the comment section.

We haven’t even begun to really get rolling with 2010′s holiday Air Jordan releases and yet somehow we’re already looking ahead to 2011. Part of the spring drops is this Air Jordan 7, which will be the first AJ7 to drop after the Premio “Bin 23″ shoe. White leather covers the upper, while the namesake blue hue appears on the Jumpman logo, midsole, tongue and heel loop. Infrared serves as a secondary accent color on all the same locations, further brightening this retro release. Are you anticipating this future drop or more focused on this season’s sneakers?
