Posted: 12 Dec 2010 12:43 PM PST Carrying the number ’95′ in the title is a tall order in the sneaker world. The adidas Originals ZX95 doesn’t seem to mind as it boasts a low profile cut with throwback runner influence. Part of the Originals collection, this model uses mesh and leather detail the upper on three unique colorways. Go against the grain with these at Eastbay. adidas Originals ZX95 adidas Originals ZX95 adidas Originals ZX95 © Ian Stonebrook for NiceKicks.com, 2010. | Permalink | No comment | Add to del.icio.us |
Posted: 12 Dec 2010 11:58 AM PST The Authentic is one of Vans most popular and best-selling models, as is its “2.0″ version, the Era. For Spring 2011, the basic silhouette is serving as inspiration once again for the OTW line. The Woessner is a luxurious take on the the basic silhouette that started it all, showing classy details like waxed cord laces, a leather liner and inward-rolled panel sewing. The standard waffle sole has also been replaced with a cross-grooved unit and a small accent panel can be seen at the base of the midfoot. Look for this new offering just after the beginning of next year. Vans OTW Woessner Source: FreshNGood © Alex Kroviak for NiceKicks.com, 2010. | Permalink | No comment | Add to del.icio.us |
Posted: 12 Dec 2010 11:13 AM PST PF Flyers helped Benny the Jet outrun Hercules in “The Sandlot,” and now a number of new colorways of the classic Center Hi are ready to help you do the same. If you aren’t expecting to be chased by a huge dog, this shoe’s pretty good for standing around, too. Burgundy, Teal Green and Dark Grey canvas uppers are complemented by white, gum and grey midsoles, respectively. Look for all three at your local account in the near future. Nike Air Pegasus 89 “Dark Shadow” Posted: 12 Dec 2010 10:28 AM PST Maybe it’s because of all the classic Air Max models that Nike continually blesses us with, but the Air Pegasus 89 doesn’t get nearly as much attention as it deserves. This new colorway is proof positive. The grey and black upper is a combination of all sorts of materials, including nylon, perforated suede and a mesh-like textile. Sitting below is a purple and orange midsole, which works with the teal tongue stripe to add some life to the dark upper. This shoe just landed at overseas retailer Titolo, but will hopefully make landfall on our shores soon. Posted: 11 Dec 2010 02:13 PM PST When it came down to choosing our Nice Kicks Staff Picks this week, some tough decisions had to be made. Not only did this past week give us some great shoes themselves, it gave us some great storylines. The Shop manager took to a shoe that meant wedded bliss for one couple, while another teammate chose a charity-benefiting project. Which sneaker resonated most with you this past week? Let us know in the comment section. Matt Halfhill Colors and materials are on point with this drop as well as the details that include his jersey number stitched to the upper, Hawks colors across the shoe, his career point total on one of the insole, and a nod to the list he deserves to be on – the NBA’s top 50 players of all time (which he was left off). Only 441 pairs were produced of the shoe representing the product of his jersey number and number of years of the Reebok Pump sold exclusively at Packers Shoes. Air Jordan 2 Quentin Richardson PE Posted: 11 Dec 2010 01:28 PM PST Years ago as a fresh-faced, head knocking Clipper, Quentin Richardson was a young member of Jordan Brand appearing in commercials and wearing the new signatures. Over the years he’s stayed loyal to JB and they’ve been good outfitting him with player exclusives including this Air Jordan 2 PE. A black nubuck and leather upper features Richardson’s nickname along with his number in New York. Knicks accents pop up all over the shoe on this unreleased PE. Fans of Q-Rich can go after these at eBay. Air Jordan 2 © Ian Stonebrook for NiceKicks.com, 2010. | Permalink | No comment | Add to del.icio.us |
