Nike Air Foamposite One “Cough Drop” Posted: 15 Dec 2010 12:58 PM PST It’s flu season right now and one of the sickest shoes for the holiday season might also be the cure for your ailing kicks collection. The next Air Foamposite One to hit shelves is the “Cough Drop,” which first hit only a handful of retail locations earlier this year. Now it’s back with limited–but slightly wider–availability. The slick black Foamposite upper is contrasted by the Varsity Red translucent outsole and various accents. This instant classic drops at select retailers, including Nice Kicks, on December 23rd. Nike Air Max 90 Black/Medium-Grey Posted: 15 Dec 2010 12:28 PM PST It’s not hard to believe that the Nike Air Max 90 has been around for nearly 20 years and is still going. The silhouette and panel structure make it one of the most easily recognizable and most customizable models on the market. Today’s pair uses a three-tone approach with black, white and grey tones. This pair utilizes black on the toe box, mudguard, tongue and heel panel. This is complimented with a nice grey leather overlay that can be seen on the toe cap and side panel. A final hint of white on the midsole, Swoosh, and inner liner finishes this pair off in what is one of the best colorways of the Nike Air Max 90 in recent times. TI$A x Stamp’d LA Footwear Collection Available Posted: 15 Dec 2010 11:58 AM PST Sa-Ra frontman and style solider Taz Arnold has seen the rise of his branded vintage apparel line. Shoes are next with the launch of his TI$A x Stamp’d LA Footwear Collection. Much like the popular snapbacks and stadium jackets, the sneaker line channels pristine brands from the past including Goyard, Fendi, and Gucci. Very limited, the collection has become available now at Extra Butter. TI$A x Stamp’d LA © Ian Stonebrook for NiceKicks.com, 2010. | Permalink | One comment | Add to del.icio.us |
Nike Dunk High “Be True To Your Street” Purple/White Posted: 15 Dec 2010 11:28 AM PST Earlier this month, we previewed a Nike Dunk High that featured some really unique textures on the upper. Today, a similar pair has made its way to the list of January releases that features different colors but similar texture patterns. This pair of Nike Dunk Highs utilizes a thee-tone theme with white and purple on the entire exterior and sole of the shoe. An inconspicuous black inner liner is the third color. As stated above, materials and textures on this pair are truly unique. Tumbled purple leather is used on the heel, lace eyelets, and toe pieces with embossed white leather set underneath it as a very nice subtle detail. Expect these to release sometime next month. Jordan Flight TR ’97 Black/Anthracite Posted: 15 Dec 2010 10:58 AM PST Smooth lines, contrasting materials, and simple colors craft the Jordan Flight TR ’97 Black/Anthracite. Retro inspiration is apparent, but direct cues are seldom seen on this new model from Jordan Brand. A predominately black upper is offset by anthracite accents. Patent leather and a translucent blue outsole liken it to a popular Air Jordan model. Get these now at Finishline. Nike Air Max 97 Black/Blue Sapphire Posted: 15 Dec 2010 09:58 AM PST Patent leather, 3M, and mesh all intertwine on the Nike Air Max 97 Black/Blue Sapphire. A black and metallic silver upper mixes materials, highlighting the lines of the AM 97. Blue sapphire works in as an accent on the branding and outsole with touches of reds popping up on the bottom. Metallic silver rests in the Air sole to pull it all together. This busy makeup is available now at Finishline.
