| Nike LunarElite+ 2 Platinum/White/Stealth-Blue Spark Posted: 03 Jan 2011 01:28 PM PST Nike’s Lunar technology is expected to make a big impact in the sneaker community this year. The Nike LunarElite+ 2 is a fairly new creation by Nike, and we expect to see some very nice colorways of this performance sneaker. The LunarElite+ 2 is very recognizable because of its newly-designed zig-zag Flywire design as opposed to the vertical Flywire tendons seen on previous sneakers. Because of this, Nike has deliberately placed the swoosh further back and closer to the heel. As for this particular pair, it features an upper mainly comprised of colors including platinum, white and stealth, while multiple blue spark hints appear in the form of the sole, laceholders, mesh and the inner lining. As the season builds so do the wins, so do the fans, and so do the shoes. The Nike LeBron 8 V2 is the next evolution of LeBron’s eighth signature. A White/Black-Sport Red makeup sees Torch replace leather on this lighter version. A predominately white upper sit comfortably atop a black outsole and Air unit. Black branding and Flywire are accented by sport red highlights, lining, and a mesh tongue. Stunning in person, this colorway has started to hit select Nike accounts including Nice Kicks in Austin, TX. | Posted: 03 Jan 2011 12:28 PM PST When it comes to the classic Nike Air 180, Americans haven been nothing but left out in the cold lately. The model experienced a resurgence thanks to some great colorways, but our European counterparts were the only ones able to enjoy the fruits of Nike’s efforts. This colorway is set to release soon and with any luck, stateside sneakerheads will have a shot at a pair. White perforated leather lays down a base on which an off-white nylon is draped. Light grey is used on the Swoosh, tongue and midsole for contrast, as are a blue tongue stripe and red-tinted Air unit. The result is the Ektio Wraptor; an advanced design that uses straps integrated in the shoe and anti-rollover bumpers. Aesthetically the sneaker features a black perforated upper complete with patent accents and red highlights. Branding appears on the strap. This model is available now at Eastbay. | Jordan CMFT Max Air 12 “South Beach” Posted: 03 Jan 2011 11:28 AM PST The Jordan CMFT series has received both positive and negative comments, yet, the majority of you responded positively to the “South Beach” Jordan CMFT Max Air 11 we showed you in early December. We will see another “South Beach” inspired sneaker in the form of this Jordan CMFT Max Air 12. This sneaker features sort of a reverse color scheme to the aforementioned “South Beach” Jordan CMFT Max Air 11. The mainly grey, mesh base is offset by Neon Pink accents (inner lining, visible Air sole unit, heel tab) and Electric Blue sections throughout the upper. | Nike Air Max 90 “ACG” Grey/Purple Posted: 03 Jan 2011 10:58 AM PST The Air Max 1 has been seen wearing ACG garnishments lately and from the looks of it, the Air Max 90 will be the next Nike Sportswear model to receive the outdoor treatment. This pair’s upper is built with a mixture of grey and purple mesh and leather. Meanwhile, a pink Swoosh and midfoot panels brighten the overall look. Optional laces include blue with yellow details and vice versa. Expect an early 2011 release for these kicks. | Footwear Faceoff: Kanye West vs. Pharrell Williams Posted: 03 Jan 2011 10:28 AM PST What better way to start the New Year than in the Air Jordan 3 Black/Cement? While some rumors allude to this classic Jordan returning in 2011 the past weekend saw Kanye and Pharrell wearing versions of this shoe from 2008 and 2001. Ye took a break from the Rosewood movement shelving his loafers for a pair of CDP 3s hooked up with a pair of black leather pants, Balmain jean jacket, and headband. Skateboard P went sans Ice Creams and departed from his recent boot exploits (why you haven’t seen him on CSS lately) going way back, pulling out a pair of ’01 Retros for a far more casual outfit than his CRS homie. | Nike SB Dunk Low “J-Pack” Black/Neon Green Posted: 03 Jan 2011 09:57 AM PST A couple of months ago, we notified you of the Nike SB Dunk Low “J-Pack” Black/Neon Green releasing in 2011. Although we have not seen it in US retailers, it is now starting to show up at select retailers overseas. This Nike SB creation surfaced on the web as a sample back in 2005; six years later, this vibrant sneaker is now a quickstrike release to many people’s excitement. A mainly black suede upper contrasts nicely with Neon Green hints, namely on the toe box, the swoosh, outsole and shoelaces. This shoe also incorporates black premium leather on the side panels and collar, while a black mesh tongue completes its texture makeup.
