Kicks On Court Weekly Recap – Fab Five Posted: 29 Jan 2011 01:39 PM PST Guards and wingmen dominate today’s Kicks On Court Weekly Recap Fab 5. Kevin Durant had a monster game in Minnesota, while Dwyane Wade also posted big numbers in a new colorway of the Air Jordan 2011. Also, Courtney Lee debuted one of 2010′s Foamposite One releases on court, and Gerald Wallace laced up a soon-to-be-released released, major Jordan Brand retro. Lastly, Jrue Holiday wore a fellow adidas brand member’s signature model. Take a look at our Kicks On Court Weekly Recap Fab 5. Dwyane Wade – Air Jordan 2011 ‘Black Patent Leather’Dwyane Wade concluded the Air Jordan 2011 official unveiling week by wearing a never-before-seen colorway of this sneakers at the Garden against the Knicks. Is Wade’s all-black, patent leather Air Jordan 2011 the best yet of it’s kind? Kevin Durant – Nike Zoom KD IIIKevin Durant matched Blake Griffin’s NBA scoring high this season by dropping 47 points on the Minnesota Timberwolves. The Nike Zoom KD III continues to gain popularity with performances like these. Courtney Lee – Nike Air Foamposite One “Cough Drop”Courtney Lee’s Nike Air Foamposite One “Cough Drop” was easily one of the sickest shoes on court this week. Will we ever see the “Dark Neon Royal” Nike Air Foamposite One on court this season? Arenas, are you paying attention? Gerald Wallace – Air Jordan 13 “Playoffs”Gerald Wallace laced up the “Playoffs” Air Jordan 13 exactly one month before its official release on February 26, 2011. Many of you have labeled this sneaker your most anticipated of this young year and rightfully so. Wallace earns our respect for wearing this shoe one month before whether he meant to do it or not Jrue Holiday – adidas aidiZero Rose ‘University Red’It’s always cool to see NBA players rocking other player’s signature models on court. For example, Mike Bibby is often seen in Chris Paul’s signature sneakers, while Nate Robinson seems to have a fetish for LeBron’s shoes. Lately, 76ers point guard Jrue Holiday has laced up Derrick Rose’s University Red adidas adiZero Rose. We don’t blame him at all. The adidas adiZero Rose is arguably the best signature adidas model right now, and this is one of the better colorways. Honorable Mention: Gilbert Arenas – Nike Air Max Penny I Black/Club PurpleGilbert Arenas broke all color codes by rocking the Black/Club Purple Nike Air Max Penny I with the Orlando Magic ‘Away’ jerseys. Yet, it’s nice to see this recently released sneaker on court. Plus, we must applaud Arenas for being original. © George Kiel III for NiceKicks.com, 2011. | Permalink | 12 comments | Add to del.icio.us |
