Kicks On Court Weekly Recap – Fab Five Posted: 12 Feb 2011 01:28 PM PST Our Kicks On Court Weekly Recap highlights some of the top performances around the league and spotlights the nicest sneaker worn in the past seven days. Ray Allen had a record breaking night in a never-before-seen PE, while Carmelo Anthony scored 50 points in his seventh signature model. Arenas rocked a classic Air Jordan 11 Low, Andray Blatche followed in Amar’e Stoudemire’s steps. Lastly, Paul Pierce continues to pay tribute to MLK through his shoes. Take a look at our Kicks On Court Weekly Recap – Fab Five. Need we say more? Ray Allen broke Reggie Miller’s three-point record (2, 560) and became the all-time leader in three-pointers made on Thursday night against the Los Angeles Lakers. He rocked a never-before-seen Air Jordan 13 PE during that game. Congrats to Ray Allen! Gilbert Arenas continues to surprise us with his sneaker selections. He wore the “Snakeskin” Air Jordan 11 Low in a game against the Los Angeles Clippers. His selection also inspired our latest Throwback Thursday. Although Carmelo Anthony’s name is brought up in trade rumors everyday, the four-time All-Star continues to ball out. At the top of this week, he torched the Houston Rockets for 50 points while wearing the Jordan Melo M7. Amar’e Stoudemire is not the only player rocking the Nike Zoom Huarache Trainer on court. Our Kicks On Court spotted Andray Blatche wearing the Metallic Silver/Black pair in a game against the Milwaukee Bucks. This Nike Air Legacy II PE was specifically made for MLK Day last month, yet Paul Pierce continues to wear it during Black History Month. We must applaud Pierce, and any other player, for paying tribute to African American heritage through their sneakers during this month. © George Kiel III for NiceKicks.com, 2011. | Permalink | No comment | Add to del.icio.us |

Kicks On Court: Gilbert Arenas Rocks “Military Blue” Air Jordan 4 Posted: 12 Feb 2011 06:28 AM PST Our Kicks On Court has spotted Gilbert Arenas in yet another classic Jordan sneaker. In a loss against the New Orleans Hornets, Gilbert Arenas scored 11 points while rocking the “Military Blue” Air Jordan 4. Although Orlando’s blue is more of a royal scheme, the “Military Blue” Air Jordan 4 coincides nicely with the Magic jerseys. The “Military Blue” Air Jordan 4 is one of the original colorways of MJ’s fourth signature model. It officially released in 1989 and later retroed in 2006. View more shots of Arenas wearing this shoe, and check out a few other players such as Kobe Bryant, Amar’e Stoudemire, Pau Gasol, LeBron James and others, below.
