Nike Zoom Kobe VI Purple/Black-White ‘Gradient’ Posted: 24 Feb 2011 01:08 PM PST Earlier today, our Kicks On Court showcased Carmelo Anthony rocking the Jordan Melo M7 White/Navy in his New York Knicks debut. However, we also noticed a few other intriguing sneaker moments. Kobe Bryant debuted this new Nike Zoom Kobe VI Purple/Black-White ‘Gradient’ on court in a game against the Portland Trail Blazers. We usually see a gradient elements going from the toe area to the heel; yet, this Kobe VI possesses a purple-to-black fade from the tongue to the area just above the midsole. Other features include a white swoosh, a white midsole, among other hints. View detailed photos below. Perforated and textured white leather dresses the upper with soft grey branding appearing as well. Orange pops up in the Air unit while grey and blue accent the tongue. Nike Toki Premium Summit White Posted: 24 Feb 2011 11:58 AM PST Summer, Summer, Summer Time! Okay, maybe we’re a bit ahead of ourselves, but warmer weather is right around the corner. That means a couple of things, but most importantly it means white kicks are a must. Nike jumped the gun with this latest Toki Premium release, using soft, buttery Summit White leather for its upper. Delightfully void of any flash, this Toki is still not without its fair share of details. The midsole stripe, along with most of the eyelets, is a very dark grey. Dusty Sage is the chosen hue of the top eyelets on either side of the midfoot and a sewn-on Swoosh has been replaced with perforations, similar to the Anthracite Toki Premium we recently saw release. These warm weather-ready Nikes are available now at Nice Kicks and via Shop.NiceKicks.com. Nike Air Max Fly By Amar’e Stoudemire “Home” PE Posted: 24 Feb 2011 10:28 AM PST Amar’e Stoudemire is having a career year in his new home of New York this season, and he’s doing it in a Zoom Huarache Trainer. Nevertheless, his handlers at Nike Basketball designed a special Air Max Fly By for him, should he opt to change kicks later this season. The Knicks’ home colors lend themselves to this shoe, which possesses a white Hyperfuse upper with an orange outsole and foxing/strap. The blue Swoosh and strap logo finish the Big Apple colorway. If Amar’e decides to break these out later this year, or better yet if they hit stores, would you try to grab a pair? Gone are the days we witnessed MJ destroying opposing NBA players while rocking some classic signature sneakers; therefore, when we do spot him in public, we are always checking to see if he’s rocking some heat. Recently, Michael Jordan practiced with the Charlotte Bobcats while wearing the Air Jordan 2011. In detail, he laced up the white/black-anthracite Air Jordan 2011 that released this past Saturday, along with two other colorways.
