Is this the most highly-anticipated release of 2011 seeing that the “Cement Grey” Air Jordan 3 and “Dark Neon Royal” Nike Air Foamposite One are behind us now? Originally released in 1992, the Air Jordan 7 “Bordeaux” is the last original colorway of MJ’s seventh signature to retro. If you recall, MJ debuted this sneaker in the 1992 NBA All-Star Game. A Purple/White colorway uses an all purple upper set of by a white midsole and minimal yellow accents. Mixed materials dress the upper setting off the branding. Nike Zoom Kobe VI “China” New Images Posted: 02 Mar 2011 11:58 AM PST Kobe Bryant collects a lot of things. For example, he’s got NBA titles, All-Star selections and various MVP trophies in spades. He also has amassed a collection of “China” kicks, the latest of which is this Nike Zoom Kobe VI. A Metallic Pewter scaly upper, is complemented by Ink highlights, including the liner, Swoosh and outsole heel, as well as a white Torch tongue, outsole forefoot and midsole heel. Crimson is also used as a detail. This colorway was inspired by China, though it happens to be similar to the Joker-inspired Zoom Kobe IV “Chaos” and will release this weekend. Nike Zoom Kobe VI “China” & “Rice” Release Date Posted: 02 Mar 2011 11:43 AM PST After many rounds of pictures but little information, we finally have a release date for both the Nike Zoom Kobe VI “China” and Nike Zoom Kobe VI “Rice”. The two special makeups will release this Saturday, March 5th. As you may recall the Nike Zoom Kobe VI “Glass Blue” will also release this Saturday. All three will be available at 21 Mercer. Following the Nike Air Max Fly By Amar’e Stoudemire “Home” PE we showed you last week, we now have detailed photos of his “Away” version. Amar’e's “Away” PE features the same accents seen on the aforementioned “Home” versions, yet, it contains a predominately black Fuse-laced upper. Orange hints appear in the form of the outsole, visible Air sole unit and ankle strap, while blue branding (swoosh, Amar’e logo) complete this shoe’s color combination. View detailed photos below. The PUMA Suede is as suede as it gets, bringing OG construction and fine materials. A Violet/Black colorway plays off a purple upper and bold black branding. Nike Zoom Huarache Trainer Low “FIGHT NIGHT Champion” Another Look Posted: 02 Mar 2011 09:58 AM PST After debuting the Nike Zoom Huarache Trainer Low “FIGHT NIGHT Champion” yesterday, we now have another look and additional information regarding this release. This shoe, in collaboration with EA SPORTS, was created by Nike for the FIGHT NIGHT Champion video game which released yesterday. It is inspired by the term “sang de Boeuf” (blood of the Ox) and pays tribute to the story of the “Raging Bull” like character. Design cues include a red, rich patent leather (flash/flair) and natural grain hints (boxers glove) to create ties to the sport of boxing. Lastly, Nike incorporated a shiny, multi-span bootie material inspired by boxers robe/trunks. As stated in our previous post, the Nike Zoom Huarache Trainer Low “FIGHT NIGHT Champion” will release on April 15, 2011. Only 360 pairs will be sold to the public.
