Nike Dunk High AC “Vintage” Pack Quickstrike Posted: 04 Mar 2011 01:13 PM PST Over the past couple of years, Nike has garnered a lot of attention on different sole elements for the Dunk. Last year, Nike incorporated the love/have stained sole on many of its Dunk releases, and in 2009, the brand introduced the autoclave (AC) sole. The latest quickstrike releases pairs both of these elements onto one silhouette. This four-sneaker collection of Dunks features stained, vulcanized rubber soles combined with premium suede uppers. To continue the old-fashioned look, these Dunks also own a stained tongue. Colorways include yellow, orange, red and blue. The Nike Dunk High AC “Vintage” Pack will hit retailers on March 9, 2011. adidas Crazy 8 Black/Running White Posted: 04 Mar 2011 12:43 PM PST Eighties babies spent much of their formative years watching a young Black Mamba attack the rim, put up serious points and butt heads with Shaquille O’Neal. Long before Kobe Bryant was a methodical, veteran game manager, he was a high-flying rim-rocker signed to the adidas team. Helping propel him to the rack was his first signature sneaker, the Crazy 8. Even by today’s standards, this sneaker’s aggressive lines are cutting edge. This simply-done colorway rocks a basic black nubuck and white leather colorway and is available now at select retailers, including Nice Kicks and Shop.NiceKicks.com. adidas Crazy 8 Nice Kicks © Alex Kroviak for NiceKicks.com, 2011. | Permalink | 3 comments | Add to del.icio.us |

Vans California Zapato Slip Spring Lineup Posted: 04 Mar 2011 11:58 AM PST Just in time for warmer weather, Vans California has unleashed it a newest take on the Zapato Del Barco, the Zapato Slip, in two great colorways. This sneaker blends the laceless nature of the Slip-On with the boat-ready appeal of the aforementioned Del Barcos, creating a sea and skate sneaker hybrid. The first shoe relies on a dark blue pinstripe upper and the second shows off a mostly white upper. Both sit on white and navy vulcanized soles and use brown leather faux laces. You can scoop up both now at Bows & Arrows for $75. Vans California Zapato Slip © Alex Kroviak for NiceKicks.com, 2011. | Permalink | No comment | Add to del.icio.us |
Air Jordan 2011 “Blackout” Detailed Photos Posted: 04 Mar 2011 11:18 AM PST During the 2011 NBA All-Star Weekend, Jordan Brand released three colorways of the highly-anticipated Air Jordan 2011 (White/Varsity Royal-Deep Royal, White/Black-Anthracite & Team Red/Team Red-White). Today, we get our first, detailed look at the “Blackout” Air Jordan 2011. If you recall, Dwyane Wade debuted the “Blackout” Air Jordan 2011 on court against the Knicks in Madison Square Garden (see our Kicks On Court: Dwyane Wade Debuts new Air Jordan 2011 at the Garden). Although it is arguably the simplest Air Jordan 2011 colorway seen to date, many of you have labeled one of the betters colorways. The handcrafted patina leather construction features a shiny, patent element throughout the upper and coincides perfectly with the patent leather tongue. The rest of the base is comprised of black nubuck. Other features include an icy sole, a white tongue border and a white/black heel tab. Is the Air Jordan 2011 “Blackout” the best yet? Nike SB Dunk Low Pro “Jameson” Posted: 04 Mar 2011 10:58 AM PST Over the years, we have seen a ton of sneakers take on an alcoholic beverage inspiration (“Heineken”, “Newcastle”, “Colt 45″, “Tecate”). We have now spotted a Nike SB Dunk Low Pro that is inspired by a Jameson Irish Whiskey bottle. Cream leather, which represents the bottle label, appears on the toe box, side panels and collar, while green suede smothers the rest of the upper in representation of the bottle color. The red swoosh and tongue logo represent the bottle cap on the Jameson bottle. The Nike SB Dunk Low Pro “Jameson” is now available at select Nike SB retailers. Posted: 04 Mar 2011 09:58 AM PST Did you miss out last year’s release of the Nike Air Max 95 “Photo Blue”? If you did, you’ll be pleased to hear that Nike will be releasing a pair of Nike Air Max 95s that are nearly identical in colors and materials. This new pair, previewed today, is set to release later this Spring and features a similar grey nubuck gradient on the upper. This is complimented with a much darker shade of blue, known as “Blue Spark”, that can be seen gracing portions of the lace eyelets, heel and tongue branding, and Air unit. Check out more pictures below.
