Nike Air Max Flight 11 Black/Dark Grey-Varsity Purple Posted: 18 Mar 2011 11:58 AM PDT Flight branding and Air Max cushioning coexist on the Nike Air Max Flight 11. A Black/Dark Grey-Varsity Purple colorway boasts Flywire and a pebbled finish. With design attributes similar to the Nike Zoom Kobe IV, this model differs in its absence of Lunar foam and use of Air Max in the heel. These are available now at Eastbay. Foam Home: Wale’s Eight Best Foamposite Debuts Posted: 18 Mar 2011 11:21 AM PDT Tomorrow, Nike will finally released the highly-anticipated “Metallic Silver” Nike Air Foamposite One. Yes, finally. We say that because this shoe was first spotted on Wale’s feet eight months ago. This is nothing new. Over the past couple of years, Wale has debuted multiple Foamposite sneakers months before the official release. Besides rap bars, the Washington D.C. rapper has made a name for himself thanks to his debut of an assortment of Foams. What other Foams did Wale debut? Take a look at our Foam Home: Wale’s Eight Best Foamposite Debuts. Nike Air Foamposite One “Eggplant”When: October 2008 Where: LRG ad in Dime Magazine Released: February 2009 It only makes sense for the return of the Foamposite craze to go through Mr. Folarin. The Washington D.C. native has let us know, time after time, the Foam fiends reside in DC. The “Eggplant” Nike Air Foamposite One was the one that kicked off the recent surge of Foams. It also received the most attention thanks to Wale wearing these five months before the release. Posted: 18 Mar 2011 09:28 AM PDT Without warning, a new silhouette has emerged from Jordan Brand in the Air Jordan 2011 “POP.” Little is known about this model just yet, but it looks to be designed for Dwyane Wade, given the D3 logo plastered on the tongue. Other features include a Max Air heel, icy blue outsole and glossy synthetic construction. The outsole is nearly identical to the regular Air Jordan 2011 design, though it is divided slightly differently. It’s very possible this sneaker will be broken out by Wade during the Heat’s playoff run, but it’s too early to speculate on its details beyond that. Expect more information to surface soon.
