Taka Hayashi for Vans Vault Sk8-Hi Boat LX Grey Posted: 29 Mar 2011 11:13 AM PDT Taka Hayashi is on a roll lately, but one of his next releases makes us wonder if he thinks he’s on a boat. The Vans Vault Sk8-Hi Boat LX is set to return in a two-tone build that takes full advantage of the season’s hottest color. Perforated suede is used on the quarter panel portion of the upper, and a darker hue is splayed across the lower area. The tweed-like liner brings the two colors together and a white vulcanized sole sits underneath. Expect this hybrid to drop this spring. Kicks On Court: Brandon Jennings Debuts New Black Ice Low PE Posted: 29 Mar 2011 09:52 AM PDT Lately, Brandon Jennings has been sporting some very intriguing colorways of the Under Armour Black Ice Low. The Milwaukee Bucks point guard laced up a black/green-red, Gucci-esque colorway last week, and before that, our Kicks On Court spotted him in a reflective, 3M version of his low-cut signature. In a loss against the Charlotte Bobcats, Jennings scored 26 points and grabbed nine rebounds while wearing a white/red Under Armour Black Ice Low. It specifically features a mainly white colored upper with a red forefoot strap. Also, red branding, seen on the toe area and tongue, coincide perfectly with the forefoot strap. Is this one of the better Black Ice Low colorways we have seen to date? View these kicks plus more, worn by Stephen Jackson, Amar’e Stoudemire, Carmelo Anthony and others, below.
