Jordan Fly Wade “Home” PE Closer Look Posted: 19 Apr 2011 12:58 PM PDT Earlier today, we highlighted Dwyane Wade debuting the Jordan Fly Wade in game 2 of the Philadelphia 76ers vs Miami Heat in our Kicks On Court. Following the Heat’s blowout win in game 2, Flash tweeted a photo of his new Jordan Fly Wade PE. As we stated earlier, the citrus hints, along with the predominant white and red base, connect perfectly with the Miami Heat home jerseys. Posted: 19 Apr 2011 09:28 AM PDT Who says a performance shoe can’t have a collector-like background story? In honor of some of some of the world’s best known cities and their respective running clubs, the brand from Beaverton has dressed five different Free Run+ 2s in special attire for the QS “City” Pack. "Deep Burgundy represents China, Pine Green captures Rio de Janeiro's grit and flair, Anthracite's starkness is quintessentially New York, Black channels Tokyo street style, while London's version of the Free Run+ 2 arrives in a gentlemanly Khaki," according to Nike. All five sit on speckled soles symbolic of the concrete streets runners hit every morning. Fit for runners and boasting sneakerhead appeal, this collection will be hard to pick up when it lands at select stores in the near future. Celebrity Sneaker Stalker: Coachella Edition Posted: 19 Apr 2011 08:58 AM PDT While Coachella probably sees more sandals, slip ons, and bare feet than sneaker heat, we did manage to do some sneaker stalking. This past weekend’s festival saw a substantial amount of hip hop and some rare sneakers. Just how rare? Nike Air Yeezy 2 rare. Though Lil B’s kicks were not rare, they were definitely based, as The Pack alum stayed loyal to Vans that look like sneakers. Yeezy aside, most sightings were expected with Wiz staying true to TG, Skateboard P rocking new 3s, and Theophilus London back in Jordans. But we gotta keep you up, right? Check out the top sneaker sightings in this special Coachella edition of CSS. © Ian Stonebrook for NiceKicks.com, 2011. | Permalink | 40 comments | Add to del.icio.us |
