The Nike Air Yeezy 2 undoubtedly caught the attention of many as did Spike Lee’s new Jordan Spizike “Knicks” PEs. We learned of the “Year of the Rabbit” Air Jordan 7 release date, and finally received the Nike Air Griffey Max II “Fresh Water” retro release. Take a look at the hottest topics from the past seven days in our This Week In Sneaks column. Today, Nike released the highly-anticipated Nike Air Griffey Max II "Fresh Water". The Air Jordan 7 makes an appearance and one writer makes it further clear how much he likes a certain collaborative runner. What was your favorite sneaker from this past week? George Kiel III I have never really took a liking to Carmelo’s signature shoes, but the Jordan Melo M7 Advance is a pretty nice-looking shoe especially in this colorway. The black upper, mixed with the white midsole and icy bottom, gives this shoe a “Space Jam” Air Jordan 11-esque feel. I also dig the flywire side panels. Nice work, JB. | Nike Zoom Hyperfuse Low “Team Orange” Posted: 23 Apr 2011 10:00 AM PDT A new colorway of the Nike Zoom Hyperfuse Low has been spotted today. This pair, which is reminiscent of the Nike Zoom Hyperfuse “Creamsicle”, employs a bright, completely monochromatic orange upper. A translucent outsole, and a white Swoosh, finish the overall look of the pair. Head to Eastbay now to pick up a pair.

| Spike Lee Debuts New Jordan Spizike “Knicks” PE at Game 3 Posted: 23 Apr 2011 08:58 AM PDT As seen in our Kicks On Court today, Tracy Morgan and 50 Cent were spotted at a couple of the playoffs games rocking some heat; however, we had to save the best for last in regards to kicks seen at courtside. The New York Knicks’ #1 aficionado Spike Lee debuted an orange Jordan Spizike “Knicks” PE at game 3 of the New York Knicks vs Boston Celtics series. If you recall, Spike Lee tweeted a photo of this shoe, and another royal blue Jordan Spizike “Knicks” PE, prior to game 2 of this series. His new PE coincided perfectly with his Landry Fields jersey thanks to its mainly orange upper and various black accents throughout the base. It is also complimented with a white midsole and icy bottom. It seems as if Spike Lee and Carmelo are dueling it out for best kicks seen in the Garden. Filament is the choice hue of the “Focus” Air Max 360 BB Low, which joins the Bright Mango and Chlorine Blue kicks we checked out yesterday. Multiple greens are used throughout, including the increasingly popular Neo Lime hue. A semi-translucent outsole reveals an inspiration message through the underside. | Celebrity Rewind: Denzel Buys Air Jordan 13 in “He Got Game” Posted: 22 Apr 2011 04:28 PM PDT Spike Lee’s sneaker game doesn’t stop at the sideline. The award winning director brings his love of kicks to the big screen, inserting the shoes that define the time. Case in point, He Got Game. While tons of heat is rocked through out the flick, the most iconic moment is when poppa Shuttlesworth cops the Air Jordan 13. Denzel wears the Jordan 13 throughout the flick and his son, played by Ray Allen, is seen sporting the same pair near film’s end. Do yourself and a favor and watch the whole movie.
