| Bring ‘em Back: Nike Air Diamond Fury Posted: 24 Apr 2011 12:43 PM PDT This weekend saw the return of the Nike Air Griffey Max II “Fresh Water”. Why not bring back another Junior classic? Though the Nike Air Diamond Fury doesn’t bare the Kid’s name in its description, the sneaker is synonymous with Griffey. More or less a PE, the Black/Fresh Water colorway sported a “JR” logo on the tongue and #24 on the ankle. Air Max cushioning and an aggressive design provide a 90s look and certified neck breaker. Nevertheless, the young Philly hooper has been confidently representing for Chinese brand Li-Ning all season long in the BD Conquer. This new colorway, which would be a perfect match for the Sixers’ fits, just landed at retailers in patent leather trim. Snakeskin is also used and a black liner and sole have been employed.
