Nike Air Griffey Max 1 “Emerald” New Photos Posted: 12 May 2011 12:58 PM PDT The Nike Air Griffey Max 1 "Emerald" is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated sneakers to release in the near future. Over the past couple of years, Nike has blessed us with a number of Nike Air Griffey Max 1 colorways such as the "Sport Red", "Fresh Water" and the Grey/Marina Blue. Yet, the Nike Air Griffey Max 1 "Emerald" is expected to be the most sought-after of the retro colors. This particular sneaker has not hit retailers since its debut in 1996 and is inspired by Griffey's time with the Seattle Mariners. Emerald Green and black control most of the nubuck textured upper, while white hints, such as the Swoosh, #24 and the shoelaces, provide nice contrast. Still, Nike likes a challenge (literally). Challenge Red serves as the choice accent color of the Air bag, sock liner and laces, while a white Hyperfuse upper and midsole provide a base. This solid runner is now available at Finish Line for $160. Air Jordan 3 Black/Black-Cement Unreleased Sample Posted: 12 May 2011 10:10 AM PDT Yesterday an unreleased Air Jordan 11 blurred the line between genius and insanity; will this amplified sample do the same? A prototype Air Jordan 3 sees a colorway that bares resemblance to the Black/Cement and "Black Cat" variations. Black covers the upper, tongue, and midsole with grey elephant print hits on the heel and toe. This sample appears to be from 2008 with no release in sight.
