Bring ‘em Back: Reebok Kamikaze II

Posted: 15 May 2011 01:28 PM PDT

Reebok Kamikaze II

Reign time! Before Swizzy was juicing The Kamikaze there was another Reebok classic of the same name. In the early 90s, the Kamikaze served as the signature line of Seattle Supersonics superstar Shawn Kemp. Kemp's game was as loud and in-your-face as his sneakers with the Reebok Kamikaze II being the more popular of the two. Since its original release the shoe has inspired countless models but has not received the retro treatment itself. An NBA expansion would need to happen for the Sonics to come back, but this one's on RBK. Yo Reebok, bring 'em back!

Jordan F2F White/Varsity Red-Black

Posted: 15 May 2011 11:58 AM PDT

Jordan F2F White/Varsity Red-Black

Following the Jordan F2F White/Varsity Royal that released in April, Jordan Brand is set to release another colorway of the performance-ready sneaker. The Jordan F2F features a mid cut silhouette and sits atop an XDR outsole. As for other borrowed elements, the horizontal, downward direction of the stitching (side panels) is very reminiscent of the Air Jordan XIV. This Jordan F2F White/Varsity Red-Black is now available at select retailers overseas; yet, it should be hitting Stateside retailers soon.

Kicks On Court Weekly Recap - Fab Five

This NBA postseason has been exciting and surprising to say the least. Our Kicks On Court continues to closely pay attention to the sneaker selections of these players as the playoffs unfold. Kevin Durant rocked a NikeiD Zoom KD III designed by one of his Twitter followers, while Joe Johnson finally debuted one of his Jordan PEs. Both, Russell Westbrook and Lamar Odom, rocked intriguing colorways of the Nike Zoom Hyperfuse 2011 and Nate Robinson finally received playing time while wearing a retro Air Jordan. Take a look at our Kicks On Court Weekly Recap – Fab Five.

NikeiD Zoom KD III

NikeiD has made a big splash in our Kicks On Court column this season. In game 5 of the Memphis Grizzlies vs. Oklahoma City Thunder series, Kevin Durant wore a new NikeiD Zoom KD III colorway designed by one of his Twitter followers. Is this one of the better NikeiD creations seen this season?

Kicks On Court

Joe Johnson (left) wearing a navy Jordan Phase 23 Hoops PE

After splitting time between the Jordan Prime 5 and the Jordan Play In These, Joe Johnson finally hit the court in one of his Jordan Phase 23 Hoops PEs. He debuted the all-red pair in game 4 and rocked the all-blue pair in game 5.

Russell Westbrook defending in the Nike Zoom Hyperfuse 2011

Russell Westbrook scored a game high 40 points in the game 4 triple overtime match against the Memphis Grizzlies. He did this while wearing a never-before-seen colorway of the Nike Zoom Hyperfuse 2011 in black and photo blue.

Kicks On Court

Lamar Odom in the Nike Zoom Hyperfuse 2011

Although the Lakers exited the playoffs rather quickly, Lamar Odom’s Nike Zoom Hyperfuse 2011 PE is still one of the best we have seen this season. Is it better than Rajon Rondo and Russell Westbrook’s Nike Zoom Hyperfuse 2011 PEs?

Nate Robinson

Nate Robinson may not see the court as much as we would like him to, but that doesn’t stop us from paying attention to his sneaker selections. In the Thunder’s blowout game 5 win against the Grizzlies, Robinson sported the “Silver Anniversary” Air Jordan 11.
