Video: Complex Magazine Sneaker Invasion Posted: 20 May 2011 12:28 PM PDT While in New York for the Sneakerpedia launch event, Inside the Sneaker Box stopped by the Complex Magazine offices for a look at what sneakers they had lying around. Specifically, Sneaker Box Clyde hooked up with Joe La Puma and Russ Bengston for a quick sneaker tour. Russ revealed a couple of rare sneakers including Air Jordan 11 inspired baseball cleats for Deion Sanders and an original Reebok Answer sample from 1996. Joe La Puma also showed some of his collection, which includes the “Bin 23″ Air Jordan 5 Premio and the “3D” Nike Zoom Kobe VI. Chivalrous Culture Hamachi “Tuxedo” Look Book Posted: 20 May 2011 12:00 PM PDT Chivalrous Culture’s recently released Hamachi “Tuxedo” has made quite a splash for the relatively new brand. The pair, which features a refined black patent and pebbled leather upper, is seen here in its very own look book. The brand describes the pair as a perfect blend of dress and street wear in a single shoe. Check out more images below as the shoe takes to the air on its very own “jet set.”

Air Jordan 9 “Playoffs” Custom Posted: 20 May 2011 10:58 AM PDT The title to this post may cause a little confusion. The Air Jordan 9 actually released in 1993 shortly following the announcement of Jordan's retirement. So, how can we possibly see a playoffs themed Air Jordan 9? Kreative Dimensions has made this possible through a very interesting custom design that is sure to intrigue many of you. Specifically, they applied a "Playoffs" Air Jordan 8 inspired design on the all white "Silver Anniversary" Air Jordan 9. The distinctive, multi-colored heel design, which is noticeable on all of the Air Jordan 8 colorways, is seen on this 9's midsole. In addition, the upper is primarily colored in black and features a white inner lining. What are your thoughts on this custom design? Does it mimic the "Playoffs" Air Jordan 8 nicely? © George Kiel III for NiceKicks.com, 2011. | Permalink | 20 comments | Add to del.icio.us |
Posted: 20 May 2011 10:28 AM PDT Shox, Air and Hyperfuse are highlights of most any shoe on which the technologies appear. Put them all together though, like with the Nike Shox Air Hyperballer, and the performance enhancers are forced to share the spotlight. This new silhouette is essentially a Zoom Hyperfuse 2011 with a new age heel Shox unit that utilizes Air for its columns. Expect this new silhouette to start landing on shelves in time for next hoops season. Jordan CMFT Max Air 10 Varsity Royal/Black Posted: 20 May 2011 09:28 AM PDT Earlier this week, we got a lot what some Air Jordans might look like with Max Air cushioning. Of course, we already know what the Air Jordan 10 looks like when mixed with the Air Max 97, thanks to the Jordan CMFT Max Air 10. This new colorway features a Varsity Royal upper of leather and perforated suede, and sits on a white midsole and translucent outsole. You don't have to speculate about this shoe's looks. Instead, you can get a pair now at Eastbay. Jordan CMFT Max Air 10 © Alex Kroviak for NiceKicks.com, 2011. | Permalink | 9 comments | Add to del.icio.us |
