Nike Air Force 1 Premium “White Pack” Posted: 25 May 2011 12:58 PM PDT Summer is here. Where are your all-whites? Nike ups the ante on the classic Air Force 1 with this crinkled patent take. The entire upper is dressed in the wrinkly, yet oh so smooth, material, and a specially decorated sole sits underneath. Through its grey-tinted rubber, a basketball-inspired graphic can be seen, much like other "True Colors" releases, and a clear plastic dubrae can be found at the base of the midfoot. This ultra clean pair can be yours now at Nice Kicks and by phone at 512.320.8100. Posted: 25 May 2011 12:28 PM PDT Looks can be deceiving, especially with sneakers. Take a quick peek at this new Nike Blazer and you're likely to assume it's nothing more than a white and black shoe with no panache to speak of. Take a closer look though, and you'll spy the croc-like print we're seeing adorn other Nike silhouettes, as well as a Varsity Red Blazer, this season. Don’t overlook this one, which you can find at Finish Line now. Nike Blazer Mid Nike Blazer Mid White/Black © Alex Kroviak for NiceKicks.com, 2011. | Permalink | No comment | Add to del.icio.us |
Nike Zoom Kobe VI “Draft Day” Another Look Posted: 25 May 2011 12:13 PM PDT On June 26th, 1996 the LA Lakers went from paying Vlade to Kobe. The draft day trade would help propel the Lakers to five titles and Jelly Bean Jr. to a handful of purple and gold kicks. Today we get another look at the upcoming Nike Zoom Kobe VI that commemorates the trade and what could've been had he remained a Hornet. This colorway drops tomorrow at select Nike accounts. Signature Showdown: Best and Worst Sneaker Sequels Part IV (Football/Baseball) Posted: 25 May 2011 11:32 AM PDT Today marks the fourth and final installment of our Signature Showdown: Best and Worst Sneaker Sequels series. We continue to highlight the first and second models of the most celebrated signature athletes; this time, we put our focus on great football/baseball signature collections that include Deion Sanders, Ken Grrffey Jr., Bo Jackson, Michael Vick and others. Is the Nike Air Diamond Turf undoubtedly better than the soon-to-be-released Nike Air Diamond Turf II? Is the Nike Air Trainer SC Bo Jackson’s best? Take a look at our Signature Showdown: Best and Worst Sneaker Sequels Part IV (Football/Baseball). Many of you may choose the Diamond Turf II seeing that we recently got word of it returning in the very near future; however, you cannot overlook the original Nike Air Diamond Turf, which retored last summer.

adidas EQT Support Running Blue/Lemon Posted: 25 May 2011 10:58 AM PDT Nineties style hasn’t been as popular as it is right now since, well, the nineties. Maybe this explains why we continue to get such great runner releases from adidas' EQT Support line. Maybe it’s just because these trainers needed to return, regardless. Sadly though, our European friends seem to have gotten the jump on stateside fiends (again), for this nicely-highlighted colorway, which features Lemon and blue accents on a white mesh and grey suede upper. You can still grab a pair though, though you’ll have to import them from Crooked Tongues for about $150. adidas EQT Support Running adidas EQT Support Running Blue/Lemon adidas EQT Support Running Blue/Lemon adidas EQT Support Running Blue/Lemon adidas EQT Support Running Blue/Lemon adidas EQT Support Running Blue/Lemon adidas EQT Support Running Blue/Lemon © Alex Kroviak for NiceKicks.com, 2011. | Permalink | No comment | Add to del.icio.us |

Michael Jordan Donates OG Air Jordan I Sample Posted: 25 May 2011 08:58 AM PDT MJ made news when he laced up his Air Jordan I at MSG in his final game there as a Bull. He's once again using his classic silhouette to make some noise. It was revealed earlier today that to stock the Jordan Brand archives with the classic silhouette, Michael Jordan donated his own pair of AJ1 samples. Now while it's easy to assume he still has storages units full of this classic, it's can't be easy to part with such a legendary piece of American sports history.
