Today, we’ve spotted yet another funky colorway that is sure to turn a few heads. This pair makes use of a grey and silver base mesh layer that is complimented with tonal black and pink tones on the full-length Pump unit and inner liner. Nike Zoom Kobe VI Metallic Silver/White Posted: 01 Jul 2011 04:28 PM PDT Neutral Nikes have been increasing in popularity at a crazy rate over the past year; especially if they're grey or silver. Kobe Bryant's sixth signature is no exception either, as it's the latest to rock an achromatic aesthetic. Metallic Silver scales cover the upper and a white serves as a contrasting base. A quiet but cool pair of kicks, this Zoom Kobe VI can be scooped up now at Eastbay for $130. Nike Zoom Kobe VI © Alex Kroviak for NiceKicks.com, 2011. | Permalink | 12 comments | Add to del.icio.us |

My 5: John Gotty of The Smoking Section’s Sneaker Rotation Posted: 01 Jul 2011 02:58 PM PDT Ever meet one of those people that's just outright cool? You can't explain it, but the effortless aura they emit just makes you respect them. John Gotty is one of those people. But the man behind The Smoking Section isn't just a respected lifestyle and music writer, he's quite the purveyor of fine footwear. We recently had a chance to catch up with Gotty and ask him about the sneaks he finds himself wearing more than any others. Though his collection hovers in the hundreds, he keeps these pairs closer than the rest. Check out his current rotation. NIKE LEBRON 8 V1 & V2John Gotty: “Between V1 and V2, I’ve prolly spent more money on the latest LeBrons than any other sneaker in a while. And without a doubt, I’d say they’re worth every penny. The materials are durable and easy to clean, many of the colorways are expressive and the comfort is top notch. But I only favor wearing the higher-cut. The Sprites and other low models look nice, but they don’t have the same aggressiveness.” Read the rest of My 5: John Gotty of The Smoking Section’s Sneaker Rotation© Alex Kroviak for NiceKicks.com, 2011. | Permalink | 8 comments | Add to del.icio.us |
