These kicks make use of a completely medium grey upper that is contrasted with white leather accents seen on the Swoosh, heel tab, laces as well as the midsole. | Nike LeBron 8 V2 “South Beach” Custom Posted: 20 Jul 2011 11:58 AM PDT The Nike LeBron 8 V2 was undoubtedly the most well-received silhouette in the three-sneaker series of LeBron’s eighth signature shoe; however, the best color scheme was incorporated on the Nike LeBron 8 V1. So, what happens when you combine the best color scheme with the best model? MizzeeCustoms shows us what that would look like by way of his newly-designed Nike LeBron 8 V2 “South Beach” custom design. He also added some distinctive attributes that make us wish this was a general release. The Flywire laced side panels feature an iridescent-like element, and the full-length Air Bag is colored in pink as opposed to Filament Green seen on the V1. Also, this custom design contains the words, ‘It’s Good To Be The King’ on the tongue and a custom Gucci-print insole. | Derrick Williams Signs with Under Armour Posted: 20 Jul 2011 11:08 AM PDT Under Armour's not taking its time building its roster of elite hoopers, announcing today that number two overall pick Derrick Williams has signed on to endorse the brand. Williams was known for not only his on-court dominance, but his on-court kicks as well. He'll join new signee Kemba Walker, who's also known for his sneaker game, in the likely shortened upcoming NBA season and represent for the Maryland-based brand in Minnesota. This particular Jordan CMFT Viz Air 13 features a Chicago Bulls-esque color scheme with black covering the majority of the upper and Varsity Red appearing on the mudguard and toe area. Additionally, a white outsole and Jumpman tongue branding provide nice contrast.
